Default Star Trek Beyond in the style of DV8PDX

I've really enjoyed all of DV8PDX's previous Star Trek movie covers. Since I could not find one for Star Trek Beyond, I decided to make my own. Took a little tracking down of some fonts but I think it looks good!

Note that I left a lot of the technical details on the back in place; the credits and such are from the Star Trek Into Darkness cover. However I did change the year and the number of the film wherever I could find it. Feel free to fiddle with it all you want.

Still looking for a Criterion King Of The Hill custom to fit a standard case. Will pay for all printing and shipping costs.

Waxworks Records' artwork for The Warriors soundtrack is superb, so I had to make a cover with it. The front image had to be reworked because it originally had track names, legal shit and other information all over it.

Yeah, there are no actual images of The Warriors on there, but hopefully you won't hold it against me.

I really like this cover, think the artwork is beautiful.

what a classic movie, havent watched it in a very long time.

just one question, why did you go yellow on the spine? black might have transitioned the back to front really nicely.

just my personal opinion, still a cracking cover. nice work

Contrasting colours my friend. He had a good eye for colour choice. It really makes the front and back pop with the choice of spine.

I still hope there are versions without the stickers, at least on the front. The spines can be easily modified via Photoshop or Gimp, but the stickers on the front go over the artwork, and it would be nice to get the front with the full artwork available (please).

Yes, it's all layers on Photoshop so can easily be removed upon request. Are you not a fan of the classic video store stickers?

Does anybody have a template for Criterion covers that would fit a Scanavo case? Preferably in photoshop format.
I found lots of templates and custom covers for Criterion but they are all for standard case dimensions.
I bought a bunch of scanavos on ebay and would like to replace some of the digipacks.

I love those covers as well. When "Star Trek Beyond" was released on Blu-ray I worked up a matching cover also. Used the same image on the back portion that you did! What are the odds. Got a kick out of that. See here.

Not really. Okay, maybe.. if you (in general) had actual stickers to put on the boxes. I'm just hoping there is the option without stickers and with clean artwork without the scratchy, worn VHS box stuff, as quite a bit of that VHS cover art is beautiful on its own.

Speaking of which, I wonder if the people who made this plan on making a second book with more artwork:

Default A River Runs Through It & Friday the 13th Part 2

Hey everyone! Sorry to have been gone so long, things have been a little hectic. Anyways, here are a few covers that I was able to complete. Two for 'A River Runs through It' and a vhs cover for 'Friday the 13th Part 2'. The reason for the two covers for 'River' is that one has the traditional red outline around the poster artwork and the back synopsis. I thought it looked strange so I changed the outline to a light green. I figured that I would present both and let people choose for themselves which ones they liked. As for 'Friday' I decided to use alternate artwork for the front (even the VHS cover was bland for that one).

A River Runs Through It covers:
Light Green version:

Traditional Red:

Friday the 13th Part 2:

Enjoy! PM me if you would like a link (for River, please specify which version you would like). It's good to be back!

Oh damn, my face in that thumbnail!

I have started making clean versions of the movies. See this example. Is this any better?
