I tried to work the original logo in the artwork that I’m using, but it just didn’t work.

I think I'm going to take my game to the next level and start printing slipcovers. Can anyone provide some general tips? I'm using a inkjet printer. I guess my main questions are:

1) what size/type of paper is best?

2) what's a good printing software to use on Mac? My concern is, I presume that the slipcover will need to be printed out larger than 8.5x11 and I'm not sure if you can print such an image using Preview.

I collect only Blu-Rays, so I plan to do a New Who and whatever comes on BD. I have Spearhead from Space and Shada, so those two probably will get the cover. And I hope to get the Tom Bakers first season, so that one might get it as well if I find decent quality picture for the cover.

The Hobbit Extended "Homemade" Box-set Update!

I went to a print shop to print my Hobbit box design and finished the project tonight. It only costed $20 CDN, but I invested quite some hours! Still, that was the best way to get the look of the trilogy box set, without having to sell and to re-buy the movies only for a stupid cardboard box!!!

Here's the result, alongside the Extended Trilogy of The Lord of the Rings:

I finished up my set of Jurassic Park custom covers, using the new 2018 logo designs and creating a back template that matches Universal's current design layout.

These previews are not the native files and the resolution in the images below is significantly reduced.

Couldn't be bothered to make individual cases for these two, so stuck 'em in a double-bill case. The movies were shop-worn, so made the sleeve appropriately battered.

Once again, the image loses a lot when compressed to fit on this page...

Has anyone done a Night Of The Creeps cover? I was thinking about trying out some custom covers for the first time and that is probably the most disappointing cover I have in my collection. I did a search and only found other people also asking a few years ago.

I disliked my Bruce Lee covers and with so many projects on the horizon, I couldn't commit myself to my Asian Cinema Collection afterall. I finished about 45 covers in the Asian Cinema Collection, but decided to scratch that project and retooled the Bruce Lee covers to the design of my Asian Cinema Collection.

The covers are made without any specs whatsoever, so you can use them for whichever release that you own.

I went to a Canadian store, "Staples", which offer various kind of prints on paper/cardboard. I decided to choose the same kind of paper used for posters, but thicker, like a photo. It was easy to bend, harder to glue, but the final result is as expected.
