Does anyone have a cover scan or custom cover for the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan movie Iron Mask (2020)? I recently bought this at a redbox but cant find cover art anywhere for it. Thank you.

I just ordered the German Blu-Ray of The Punisher (2004) that features both the theatrical cut and the much coveted extended cut. Would anyone be at all interested in doing an English friendly cover?

Kernie's cover art for this is awesome. See here. And yes, a subscription is required to download. The juice is worth the squeeze though.

Apologies if this should be asked elsewhere.. But for those who print at home with an inkjet.. Any experience in using refillable or third party inks? I bought an HP Envy recently and it prints pretty good, but it just chewed through an entire new HP XL color cartridge after printing 8-9 covers. Does not seem very sustainable.

I use a Canon MG7720 printer which is an inkjet. I get far FAR more covers than 8-9, even using setup tanks. One interesting note to consider if your printer is like mine (and I bet it is) is that the warning labels for low ink or that you are out of ink are actually way, WAY misleading. I can and do often print anywhere from 5-10 additional covers AFTER the printer tells me that the ink may have run out. These companies tend to give VERY conservative estimates regarding the ink that is left and as a result it's very likely that if you toss your ink as soon as the "out of ink" logo is shown, that you may be throwing away as much as 25% of the total ink in the cartridge.

As for your question... I've never tried off brand ink as I have a seller on ebay that sells new out of box cartridge's for 25% - 75% of the cost of buying in a retail establishment so I haven't taken the chance on it though I too would be curious to hear from others what their experience was like.

Can anybody create covers for all the volumes for The Vikings? The lack of unison is killing me.

I was aware that they often do that and you don't always get an accurate reading on the ink level. I printed one cover after the alert of low ink, and it came out ok, figured it'd print a few more but the color literally stopped 3/4 of the way through the print. It's strange that I'm still on the starter tank for black, it's still showing as 80% full. I feel like the covers I've been printing use much more black than color.

I have tried 3rd party ink cartridges in the past and they have, without exception, been terrible. Especially the blacks, which always come out watery and dark-grey instead of pure black. Gave up on the idea years ago as I never managed to find one that was any good. I think printer ink is one of those areas where you truly do "get what you pay for" unfortunately.

<< UPDATE: I still don't know why those 2 particular covers don't print properly. I ended up saving them as PDFs, and the PDFs print just fine.
If anyone has a solution so I can print them from PhotoShop, I'd be very happy to hear from you! >>

Help!

I was trying to print BasedSPACER's Marvel Cinematic Universe covers, and I don't know what went wrong. Phase 1 and 2 are fine, but when I tried printing Parts 1 & 2 of Phase 3, the colour went all wonky. I'm printing from PhotoShop on a HP Laserjet 2605dn. I know my printer is ancient, but nothing like this has happened before.

I tried changing the settings from having the printer control the colours to PhotoShop taking control, but that didn't make any difference. Does anyone know of any other settings I should tweak?

Thank you!

Download Undercover10...

https://www.emdb.eu/undercover10/

Open the cover settings and adjust the cover dimensions to fit the style of case you want. The program does come with a Blu Ray cover template but I found it to be slightly large and so I created my own "Viva Elite Blu Ray" template which I use for all of my covers now unless I am printing Criterion covers. Just make sure to go into printer properties and set the quality to high before clicking the print button for the final time.

Speaking of Undercover10, does anyone have a template for a 25mm 8-disc Blu-Ray case like this one?:

https://www.amazon.com/Blu-ray-Multi-Holds-Viva-Elite/dp/B00CF5OGL2

I've tried making my own but it failed.

Back in the 90s when I was offering rare and public domain movies on VHS all with color cover art, I had to start refilling the cartridges myself. As I had to do it extremely often, it was a pain and I tended to have blotches of colored ink on my fingers at all times that generally didn't wash off and had to be absorbed by your body. That was the most cost effective way. After perhaps 50 refills, the color tank would have to be replaced because the print quality would get poor.

With some units such as certain color laser printers, they won't allow you to print when it thinks it may be out of ink. For those models you will usually find online instructions which are often pushing buttons in a certain way that makes the printer think the cartridge is fine. You can then get quite a few more pages printed usually before the color actually runs out.

I should add that if you decide to use a laser printer, the clear plastic that the sleeve fits into can cause the laser printer in inks to fuse to ithe clear plastic.

I've used 3rd party ink, and while the cartridges seem to dry out a little quicker, I found the printouts I did to be acceptable enough for me. For the cost of branded cartridges I thought they were a good substitute.

My method for the getting the sizes right was always just to open word, paste the image, then scale it to whatever size I wanted by measuring the cover in the case I wanted to replace. Worked ok.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the great covers made by the people on this forum...

I've never had this problem with laser ink, but did many years ago with inkjet printers, especially when buying Kodak branded paper. For some reason, my covers would never fully dry in those days, and would stick to the plastic overlay like you described. So I finally switched to a different paper, and letting my covers dry for at least a full 24 hours, prior to cutting.

I added another Paramount title to my Blu-ray collection today, one that has yet to see an official Blu-ray release. When cataloging the title in DVD Profiler I decided to work up a Blu-ray version of the DVD cover art. End result shown below. Feel free to download a copy if you like.
