Custom Cover Art Thread

hi guys, haven't made any customs or done any fan work in about 10 years but looking to start again. Currently rebuilding and making some up to date studio templates. Had a quick check in this thread but most seem to be out of date. Does anyone know if there are any recent ones available before I continue to make them from scratch?

I'm working on a cover for Eraser (1996) and would like to use this image:

I can't seem to find a high-res image where the fire in the background isn't pixelated. Anyone have any resources to find a better image?

The Epik Park that housed my The Twilight Zone complete series was broken on one of the hinges, so I found scans for the individual Blu-Ray releases. They're the Image Entertainment covers, but the disc content is the same so I can overlook it.

I decided to use my limited graphic design skills to add details to the interior of them (with each season being its own colour) before housing them in clear cases. It's a bit simple, but I quite dig the effect.

This comes with a large number of preset cover dimensions and automatically attempts to size any custom cover to the correct case. It generally is very accurate. Not sure if it's still an issue or not, but way back when when I first downloaded this program I found the Blu Ray template was just slightly too long. I shaved off a few mm and saved my own template that I named "Viva Elite" and have been using this program for all my printing needs for years.

I've actually tried that. Covers kept coming out wrong for me. Whole cover were off size and nearly half the back was cropped. Not sure if I did anything wrong with it though.

Tried an older UndercoverXP and it works perfectly fine for me..

I found a pretty good hi-res image that's 1920 x 2560 and the pixilation is still there (even Arnold appears to be pixilated). Seems to be an artistic choice for the image. Photoshop may be able to sharpen the image?

Likely just the films released around 2000 and afterwards. Might just have to one for the '89 Punisher though!

Cool. Maybe have two version of the 89 Punisher? One for general releases with not a lot of info and one for the region locked German release (which is the best release out there)?

I've seen a few of them, but they're rare. Transformers, Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings are the only ones off the top of my head I know of that had more than 6 discs.
