Not too sure where to ask this so I thought here would be ideal

I want to print my own DVD/blu-ray covers but without resorting to online websites that complain about copyrighted images or how hard it is to see an example without asking for a quote (all of the websites seem to require quotes or have limited sizing & no pictures/prices). Would a Canon Pixma IP4700 be ideal? Or could you list anything that'd be similar to what I need? Cheers

Note:
I'm not expecting top notch professional quality but somewhere along the lines of good enough without looking crappy

Do you have a public university near your house? They have everything you will ever need for digital publishing and it's all for personal use so no complaining from business owners worried about lawsuits...

BPM are you still providing covers to contributing members or those that have been around for months? Just curious as I have not been around much lately and am not sure if you changed your rules.
I sent you a PM awhile back for the Up in The Air cover and never heard back so I didnt know if you in box is full or what.
Just curious.

Regards, Jordy

Sorry jordy, I will look for your PM, they get lost sometimes... I have over 980 of them and tend to sometimes forget I got one!

I will send that one to you ASAP

More tinkering with my first cover Serenity...

I didn't want to copy backslash's cover obviously since that is his work

How do you guys create back covers? Are they totally custom or are they scans? Where do you get the Blu-ray, DTS, studio symbols, etc?

There's templates out there with distributor covers like Universal & most of the presentation will be pre-made already (especially logos) so all you have to do is come up with the credits & screenshots & bg if necessary, etc (at least I think so)

I haven't been able to find them myself yet though I should get onto that since it would be handy

Default Punisher/Punisher War Zone Combo Cover

Is there a Punisher/Punisher: War Zone combo cover around? I have looked but haven't seen anything.

Sounds like a good idea, too bad I don't own the Thomas Jane one, only the last one.

Worked one up real quick.

If somebody could post the template for a Universal studios cover, particularly one with a lighter-colored swoosh across the bottom, rather than the darker-colored swoosh, I would seriously appreciate it. I want to create the swoosh across the bottom and spine for "It's Complicated" and print it out and stick it to the cover, to make it match all of my other Universal titles, since it's the only Universal title that I know of without this on the bottom, and it bugs me.

LK, BatB and Al aren't finished yet(and don't need to be cause they haven't been released), but just to give an overall view. And my new version of Pinocchio. Monstro didn't work on the back cover, and I couldn't get a good picture of marionette strings from the movie so I went with the crate with donkeys.

Those are so freakin' awesome. Wish they wouldn't cost so much in ink to print.
