For those that followed this project, you'll remember my original intention was to just mod the NES cart so the disc fit inside. Little did I realize, standard sized discs wont fit in a NES cart, only mini discs.

So, I disassembled a NES cart. It basically breaks down in half. Cut and sanded all the jabby parts, so it was basically flush along the back half. Then used a DVD case, cut it out on profile, and attached it to the back. It turned out pretty decent. It was a fun project.

That is unique and very well done!

but the image looks to be bad quality.
the WB logo on the back is way too low. looks like it is cutting off.

have you tried the DC logo on the spine without that white border/background?

The WB logo is actually there on purpose, and no it's not cutting off anything from it. I did try the DC Logo without the white logo but give nthe limitations it looked better with the white background. As for the picture of the bats flying around bruce, it was taken from an HD trailer...but I think uploading it to photobucket may have screwed with the overal cover a bit as it's no longer the size the original was.

What limitations? A quick google image search of "dc comics logo" brings up some pretty worthy alternatives. I'm not a fan of the white border either, it calls way too much attention to itself.

Personally, I'd either either:
-find a new version of the "swish" logo without a border
-move the "swish" logo to the lower part of the spine similar to a trade paperback
-use the really simple DC logo you see on the spines of a lot of newer hardcover trades

But that's just me, I'm loving the front covers.

The best shooter cover I've seen is the UK one. I had that one printed out for my copy.very action packed cover.way better than US one or even the steelbook imo.

I have a question for everyone? Is it legal to take a movie screenshot or still to a place and have it printed off? Me and the girlfriend are printing out some of our favorite movies in black and white and putting theme on the wall, and i wanted to print one that was a little bit bigger than 8.5 X 11, so i would have to take it somewhere. I was just curious. Sorry for the brief hi-jack. Thanks

It is legal if you pay for the screenshot or if you take the screenshot off a disc that you own.

It took a bit of work but I was able to make it work on the black background and have since also modified my Dark Knight as well with this new DC logo.

I just got the blu-ray cheap, due to the case and cover being trashed. I replaced the case, but need a replacement cover too..
