I got a little inspired yesterday when I was watching a video of John Lasseter and Hayao Miyazaki and John said that "whenever they need a little inspiration they watch a Miyazaki movie." And with the beautiful graphic design of the japanese "Nausicaä" BD ("Castle in the Sky" and "My Neighbor the Yamadas" coming soon with the same style, just different background colors) I felt a little inspired by this Ghibli design to do some custom work for my Pixar collection.
I'm a very busy man nowadays but managed to squeeze in these "test covers". The goal is to go same way as the Japanese Ghibli BDs and keep it as clean as possible. Ripoff? Yeah, probably... But anyway... Just wanted to hear some opinions and see if there's any interest in this design and if anyone would like all the Pixar films this way. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You need to make sure your printer is set to (photo, presentation or brochure - depending on your printer) and print borderless. A blu-ray cover will take most of the 11" on 8.5"x11" paper since its about 10.4"x5.9" actual size.

Commando Cover- Yes, this is amateurish, but I bought the disc without a case and couldn't stand the low-res cover I found with a cheesy looking spine. I'm still working on making one with a little more class, but this will do for now. Also, I flip the existing artwork around so the tech specs show through the inside of the case, so I'm not really concerned with the repeated graphics on a catalog title like this.

I think the few that have been done are 3 disc cases as both planned on ditching the digital copies. Maybe one of the two that did collection cases can expand the spine to 6 disc for you.

Forgive me, but what are the dimensions for printing these covers? Specifically for a standard size single/double case and the 22mm 6-disc I just ordered.
