hmmm... I guess it's the fact that your cover is so graphic already that I'd use a more simple and thinner text with one color only playing with the fact that it appears in the water... more black and white using the blood in the lake...
And I'd put the girl and the blood in the lake more in the center of the art... and play with it in the title but it's just ideas I throw in the air... I don't really know how I would do... I'll probably try something to make myself more clear (but I'd give it to you in PM not here so that I won't pollute your fantastic job and effort on this... just to let you see what I meant and maybe my idea would be absolutely crap... it's just a thought I had when I looked at your amazing graphic cover)

Okay. I've made a few changes. I finished the bars around the pictures (which I still need to change), and I've made the text not take up so much space. I may still redo the background to make it more visible. I just need to think of something to fill in that hole next to the text.

Wow! That is great! I like how you did the "Not just a great escape. It was the greatest." text! Big improvement overall! You should fill up that blank space with a Steve McQueen in a pose or some type of image...just a thought. But great work! Can't wait till it's finished.

Looking great. Would a butterfly be too on the nose?

Or maybe repeat the lock from the front, or use the keyhole from the lower left of the poster?

Here's a double feature cover I made for Poltergeist 1 & 2. Based on the Paramount double feature covers. PM me and I'll email you the full-sized file.

Somewhat off topic - but I'm trying to place an order at sleeve city for replacement boxes - but the shipping is killing me. Anyone know where I can find a coupon code?

Nice work for those who don't have the digibook of the first one. I have the digibook. Personally, I thought they would put 2 and 3 on a Warner double feature, but milk milk milk....

But it doesn't seem right as far as geometry, those panels are going inward in a 3D type angle, yet the typeface is not angled with it.

After staying up late taking screen-grabs from my DVD, I think I found a good pic to fill the empty space. Once WB releases the specs, I'll have this cover finished.

I think you're being a bit hard on yourself. Both are superior to what MGM supplied. I'd love one when you're done tweaking.

Maybe I was just staring at them too long! Thanks for the feedback. Torrente's thoughtful reply was also appreciated. Will work on both (and maybe a 3rd!) more this week.

Has anyone made any LET ME IN custom covers? I did a search and couldn't find anything. I'm a huge fan and I'd love to be able to own some awesome cover art.
