Any of you brilliant customizers here wanna take a stab at a custom Cover of long-awaited, recently released: Legends of the Fall

i just can't stand the super generic one sony put out

something maybe more akin to the original poster or a great new original approach would be cool too!

I know this is still a wish list title (though we are getting Tarkovsky's original soon), but I recently made a SOLARIS custom as a portfolio piece. (Hi-res here.)

Still needs a back cover, but sadly there seems to be plenty of time for that...

That Solaris cover looks great! What are you putting a portfolio together for (if you don't mind my asking)? I'm just curious because I'm currently putting together a portfolio for college.

Thanks! To quote Ricky Gervais in EXTRAS: "Anything else." I've been designing books for over 10 years, and am trying to do something in the video/film field.

I think Warner Home Video should hire me; at least I can spell Barry Lyndon!

The one WB made is so awful I almost feel compelled to dig into my contacts at the Studio to try and find out WTF happened...

It just amazes me the kind of crap the studios put out, with what seems like soooo little effort when there are amazing artists out here doing such fantastic work. Seriously... It really starting to irritate me that there is so much talent here and other sites and the studios settle for what they do... its just disgusting... but I guess most people don't care about cover art...

guess I should say keep up the good work everyone... I've been playin around with my photoshop that I just got for the last couple days and I honestly have no clue how you guys do this... my first cover is probably going to take me MONTHS and will look like CRAP! Okay, I'm ranting again
