Thanks! I just added the "Glow" effect that was in "filters" on Fireworks to the image. Here's what it finally looks like in the case and how it looks on a disc.

Im still looking for covers for the individual Rocky movies. i would even take scans of the DVD/Blu-Ray combos. Also anyone have some customs for Fantasia & Fantasia 2000 that are for each film and not a double feature

Hey all!

it's been a while since I was on here, mainly because I was working on three designs at once, lol.

Well, here is one of them.

The first cover (Version 2) is my entry for the inter-site competition that you may have heard mentioned here, and it was in the same contest as dv8's Social Network Cover.

I managed to place third in the competition, so I am super happy... But I also decided to take some of the recos that the judges made and create a second version for my cover.

The second one (Version 1) with the added green is the updated version.

Here is another one of my newest designs... Inspired from the poster artwork for the movie and the movie itself. I tried to put the same type of theme into my cover that Boyle put into the movie.

I really like the covers for The Day the Earth Stood Still, and A Clockwork Orange.
Shoot, i hardly see a bad cover here. Most are better than studio stuff! But then, i guess that's one reason custom covers exist.

Still in dire need of covers for "Dragon Wars" and "Mirrors". It's annoying me now seeing a red "7 day" rental tag on the spine and knowing the silver rental ring is on the back. Thanks. Nice Three Kings cover and update. Although I think the update of dv8's entry provided a much greater boost to the overall cover, it is nice seeing the recommendations getting applied even if it is something as subtle as adding the green.

Thanks Trean... Yea, I didnt want to make too many changes to my original cover, so it Is pretty minimal!

man, a guy gets sick and actually misses a week worth of updates, and I missed some good stuff in here... GOO! Diggin the 127 hours cover BPM that looks plenty nice... and am I the only one that prefers DV8's original Social Network cover? I mean the new one is great, but I dunno I guess I just really liked the play on the TIME cover.

Maybe now that I'm not so unbelievably ill, maybe I can begin my young padawan training anew! Keep up the great work guys...

And yes, The Day The Earth Stood Still cover is AMAZING! Don't have the movie or I'd ask you to use that one

I liked the creative concept play on the Time cover. But the custom cover didn't flow front to back due to the creative back choice having conflicting colors with Time magazine.
