I loved the idea of the Time front too... for me a great Time magazine theme for the back would have fit awesome...

but I said it to dv8, and I'll say it here.... his cover was great before and its great now, he should be proud if it either way!

yeah maybe he will do a second cover where instead of changing the front of the Time idea to fit the back, he will change the back to fit the Time front.

I have to admit that the "angled text" was inspired by BPM's creations. I'm sure he would've executed it better, but there it is.

The top 4 lines on the back may need to be redone (from out of space...a warning and an ultimatum!) They look a bit wonky as far as how they are angled (it seems that they should be angled more downwards to the bottom right, as if there were a vanishing point to the far lower right off screen. I can see how they do follow the same parallel line as the smaller text, but it still looks off [optical illusion?]).

I think it may just be the "from out of space" text...

This is his final version I believe. Plus, I think it may be the 3D representation of Imandix that's causing that "optical illusion".

yes a few weeks back or so, there seem to be an influx of talent as well as people looking to get into the mix and develop their skill set

You are right. I dont "do" many forums, but this one is among the best I have participated in. The people here are talented and supportive of everyone doing the work and the newbies like me who are trying our hands at it. I dont think I have been on a forum before where everyone seemed so cool and eager to help. There is criticism that is not taken personally but rather as creative input and people build off of the suggestions and input and make some amazing covers. Great people, great thread and tons of great work.

Two of the users seem to have used sharing sites that track bandwidth or have removal policies. There previews are no longer there so I couldn't figure out if they were finished or not.
