Hi everyone,

Is there any custom artwork for "The man with no name trilogy" and "Terminator trilogy"?
Thanks!

On to the front...

Found you some examples (Incredibles & Cars) not high enough res to utilize as templates but high enough to look at. Just fronts though.

The Incredibles Front
The Incredibles Scan HighresCovers.net
Cars

First thing I notice from those two covers versus yours is that the Disney Movie Rewards and Disney Blu-ray logo on the front seem to be more prominent in this design versus the old design, so you should try to adjust that if you agree.

Second thing I notice is that a character image never starts on the right side. It may cross over the half-barrier but it always emanates from the left. This means you have to get rid of the little guy on the O in Nemo and have to rework the main image so that it utilizes this left to right scheme.

Third thing is the title placement seems to be standardized. Center of the right half of the front. Disney PIXAR is somewhat more prominent in this new design and is centered over the title.

Last thing (for current WIP), Disney never re-uses cover art (per iteration) for the front it seems, so its a good choice not to use the Turtle cover that was previously used on the DVD. The art choice you have made exists on a PS2 game cover so it may also be passed on by Disney, but they will have much easier access to a lot more high res work from Finding Nemo than you currently have so I don't know how much you can do about that.

Sweet. Now I need to pick up Planet of the Apes and another 22mm case.

Do you do requests?

Sometimes - if it's something I might use, too! By the way, I printed the most recent green ALIEN Anthology cover, and it looks pretty good! May post a few pics later.

Cheers! I seemed to miss it from my search. Cool cover!

Maybe I should rephrase it... I would kill for a POTA Criterion-esque type cover for the slimmer VIVA 5 disc case.

I feel like there has been a lot of demand for a non-'40 Year Evolution' POTA design. Maybe I will try something different. The original poster would lend itself to a Criterion treatment:

But maybe I'll try something based on this image:

I also love all the ape glyphs, those would be cool to incorporate. We'll see - I have a bunch of customs I want to do!

I like the way you've built up the back specs, but to be honest I prefer the first version of the front you did, with the shark's fin sticking out of the water. The whole "wall" deal that Disney's been doing really throws me off (you'll notice they avoided it for "Toy Story 3").

An example of what I was asking... sorry for the crude quality. Just something I did in an couple of minutes.

I also don't have that cover thingy to put the custom, so the image goes flat.

That is one of my favorite images from the film. I was actually thinking of using that on the back...

And I wish I had a Fox template - my covers aren't very official-looking, and I put the different elements together in InDesign. So I could also use a good template!

I had worked on restoring this poster I found online of a re-release not terribly long ago, but like most posters from over seas, it was folded. So I had to get the folds out and I corrected the contrast and all that. I had made this into a poster as well (Check it out here if you want) then I decided to put it together for an alternate cover if anyone wanted because it is about to come to blu in a few weeks. Let me know what yall think.

Looks great! (As does the poster on deviantArt.) I might prefer a slightly more western-y display font, though nothing too cheesy. But the Futura looks nice & clean against the art.

Ok, so I've done the best I can with the front with what images are out there. Pretty much finished with the front. Added the back legals and all the correct logos are up to date accurate and in the correct placements. Now to just work on the main back element/synops.

I will end up when finished with both front versions.

Here I thought the official Once Upon A Time... art was great, but karbacca's blows it out of the water. Great stuff!

I had done that at first, but the Futura font made it look more like a modern western, and I liked that.
