Thanks Nissen.

I have four alternate TT's that I simply cannot decide which I like better. Which works best, or what would work better?:

You're right, red was a bad idea. I'd say go with the blue. I think the one across two lines is more readable, but it obscures more of Bond. As you didn't leave any room for the titles in your template, I guess number 3 is the lesser of evils. You could move the title up across her behind.... Only kidding

Yes the 2-tier TT's obscure Bond but they dion't obscure any of Melina...and let's face it Melina is the star/main attraction of this poster art

Alternatively I'm fine not having any TT on the front at all, but I'm not sure if that breaks any rules.

Outer glow added to the credits and legals after I didn't like the look of any of the masks I tried. Thanks to Imrahil for suggesting the outer glow option.

What the hell?

I spent many hours finding perfect pictures and fixing Cowboy's render problems, and now someone beat me to it?

Anyways, here is my WIP plus the original.

Here is my World Is Not Enough concept.

Hey, there's plenty of Bond love to go around But why are you using dvdmike's template and not creating one of your own?

I have been steadily working on my template for over a week and a half in preparation for doing the entire series. I started just posting on EuphoricFX but as I started applying For Your Eyes Only to the template began posting on here (check the last few pages of the thread). It's come a long way and is completely unrecognizable from where it was when I first started work on it.

I have all the high resolution art ready to go to make a run on doing the whole series

I wanted to fix the render issues and make better alternative covers for the movies that were lacking pizazz in the cover/poster department.

One suggestion on the movie title. Maybe you could shrink the poster smaller so that it won't occupy the whole cover. Then place the movie title outside the poster, either at the top or bottom. This way, the title will not cover any of the Bond art.

Because that would mess up my template when it comes to super-tall posters like that for "Octo*****," plus FYEO has some of my favorite poster art of the series and I want to give it plenty of area to play.

i.e. if I reduce the height of the FYEO poster then I would have to reduce the height of the other poster art in the series to adhere to the template and some of the posters are going to need all the height they can get.

If you look at Trekkie's post above you will notice that dvdmike solved the issue by squashing the TT above Bond. I however was determined to use the actual poster TT in at least font if not color.

I have to think ahead and beyond just FYEO to ensure that my template will serve all the movies.

It's going great.

There's no need to spend hours and hours searching for high resolution poster art. I checked just two websites and between them was able to pick up high resolution poster artwork (typically 3,000+ x 3,000+ pixels) for every movie except two.

For the two I had a problem locating I did scans of my personal James Bond poster collection and then subsequently found hires images at a third site.

By the way I notice you have two people hanging from your helicopter - you should fix that.

No problem, you just do what you think is best.

Nah, that's just a heavy drop shadow, but I see what you mean.

Question: Do I still need the shadow box if I put an outer glow on the back cover text?

Does anybody have a nice NAVY SEALS custom cover? I got the set that comes with a DVD as well, and they came with a double DVD case, and it doesnt fit very well in my blu ray collection.

Thank you in advance!!!

I know this isn't technically a "custom" that I am asking for, but can anyone who picked up the standard edition of X-Men First Class scan the cover and upload it?

I got the Target version for the DVD that comes with it, but I'm thinking of switching out the cover.

I posted my "For Your Eyes Only" cover to EuphoricFX if anyone is interested.

Putting together that template actually took up six pages in their WIP forum with over 70 messages back-and-forward.

One of the admins at the site even cited the thread discussing the template, elsewhere on their site, as a perfect example of what a WIP thread should be.
