what's wrong with thinking the imandix template are ugly? they don't look anything like blu-ray cases. they're just blue

I was wondering if anyone had a scanned cover (or knows a website that might have) of the International version of Red Cliff. I bought Parts 1 and 2 at blockbuster and want to consolidate them down to a single case with the cover that combines parts 1 & 2.

It's not just that they don't look like blu-ray cases, it's the way they're drawn. Something about it is just very ugly. It looks cheap and the way it's rendered is rubbing me the wrong way. Every time I see it I just think 'tacky overload'.

I can't choose a preference either. Each of these is far superior to any of the actual covers I've seen for the film. And any of them would be a great replacement for that dreadful US cover.

I did see one typo for Notorious, if you are interested. It should be Rio, not rio, on the back cover.

They just need the blu-ray logo, i wonder if there's a way to add it into the programming?

Imandix are too cheap to licence the BD logo. The cases are referred to as "Blue HD cases" in the program. While they're at it, they would do well to include a couple different templates for these "HD cases".

you can actually go into the Imandix files and edit the case artwork to include the logo in PS - its pretty easy. That way the logo is there every time you make a cover.
