Let me know which one you like better! I promise I'll try to stop making drive covers now.
Great work on both of them! I think the top cover flows better with the spine and back both being dark as well. But I do like the bottom too. It's the cover used for the soundtrack, on which they placed the title at the bottom, but what you did here works well. Are these high enough resolution to print? I have never gone through with custom covers before...

PS Thank you for NOT making yet another Drive cover. Ugh.
I must be so out of it...I'd never heard of "Drive" until the endless covers started appearing on this site. Marriage and house hunting has occupied much of the last few months.

I'll PM you the link tonight (I don't have it on this computer). When I sent Nissen the link a few months ago he canceled a whole evening slated for "Jurassic Park" viewing because the site was such a gold mine for posters and publicity stills.

Two months ago I had about 100 credits on MoviePictureDB and I have used the site to bump up my library to the point that I now have over 820 credits (all through submissions) on MoviePictureDB. I also was the first one to post stills for movies such as "Lassiter", "Rough Cut", "When Eight Bells Toll", "Force 10 From Navarone", "Who Dares Wins". "North Sea Hijack", "The Hostage Tower", "Sphinx", "The Sea Wolves", "Bear Island", "Wild Geese", "Wild Geese II", "Sahara" etc etc.

"High Road to China" now has a very respectable 37 stills when a few months back it had none

I found all the 28 official stills for "For Your Eyes Only" in extremely high resolution on the site which I recenly saw were selling on ebay for about $300.

To be fair though I did do some Photoshop repair on the "When Eight Bells Toll" poster.

Thats a good idea, I have these two but not one that says "Moustapha Akkad Presents" or "Version 2.0"

Heres a couple I have been working on. My wife agreed that the "D" had to go so now it has been benched.

I dont know where to find some of the Company Logos and legal stuff at the bottom so I had to do without for now.

Hi all, I dislike 'Eastern Promises' cover art and was hoping someone could remake one with this image on the front (without the credits on the bottom)

Thanks!

If the E.T. cover art is as bad as it looks, we will all be needing one of these...

Wow, that's classic. If the actual cover art is like the one on the item page of the forum, then I'll definitely have to use an alternative cover. Either that, or see if another country's version has better art, similar to what I did with Drive.

Yeah I just threw them together about 30 min total.. of course the backs aren't done, gotta wait till the disc drops for all the specs. Luckily I had copies of the front art in pretty good shape, just Photoshopped out the creases in the posters.

Figured since I put together E.T., I might as well mock up Jaws as well... nothing fancy, just the original art.

Does anyone have good vectors of the Back to the Future TT? Specifically the Part II part. I've got the main logo but coming up with the Part part is parting tricky!

Now I would think Universal will maintain that Iconic image for the Jaws release. I don't even recall them using any other image in all the VHS/LD/DVD releases. Now Jaws 2-4 always varied, + Universal is usually pretty good at maintaining original one sheet artwork.

With Jaws.....simplicity plays to its strengths for the cover and back. You don't need a synopsis.... I dig that!

Thanks, those are pretty cool, but I was more concerned with now having the HD audio on the Blu-ray.

So are there any takers on an updated Halloween II BD cover? I and I am sure others would really appreciate it very much.

Universal have always used the shark and victim image but there have been variations.
I think the original DVD release was a lot darker blue, almost like its a night shot. The shark has a sharper, pointier look and I'm fairly sure there's air bubbles galore around the shark.

The original colouring and style is the best.

Jaws 2 was almost always consistent, the shark is bigger and has slightly squarer features. Jaws 2 uses the water-skier image 99% of the time, Eddie & Tina in the boat are featured on the original soundtrack cover.

I really don't like the colours in this image, that one that everybody uses. So I give it a whirl.

the back is a heavy wip at the moment obviously
