Can I get a custom cover/poster for Batman the Brave and the Bold series on DVD please? Something with a few more characters than just Batman like shown on the Season volumes.

Thanks

To begin this though he quoted my post, I merely pointed out the difference, never said you could not, or should not, use posters as you described, only that they are not the same thing, and they still are not, you don't don't have to agree with that statement as is, but it sadly is a fact.

And rybev, they hang posters in theater lobby's and on walls, covers are the artwork in the retail DVD and BD cases, and it is true many use poster art for the fronts (which is fine) but IMO to be a "cover" it must have a front, spine and back and fit in a retail case, and that is the only thing I said.

Are there any custom Criterion Blu-ray covers available for titles of theirs that were on DVD but will never get a Blu-ray release because they're out of print or something like that? I'm looking for Criterion covers to use for my non-Criterion Blu-rays of the following films, but I also want to include my original Criterion DVDs in the cases. And preferably they would have the original DVD artwork, except obviously touched up to fit the current Criterion style.

#001 - Grand Illusion
#008 - The Killer
#009 - Hard Boiled
#012 - This Is Spinal Tap
#013 - The Silence of the Lambs
#020 - Sid & Nancy
#023 - Robocop
#037 - Time Bandits
#040 - Armageddon
#075 - Chasing Amy
#135 - Rebecca
#136 - Spellbound
#137 - Notorious
#182 - Straw Dogs
#316 - Ran

I'm sure I'm missing some, and I don't actually own all of these DVDs, but I think it would be cool if someone created all of these. I would definitely print and use A LOT of them.

You're just splitting hairs now and being rather pedantic.

Posters and covers are physically different, the point is poster images are very often used for covers.

The original poster "Taei" merely offered some alternative images for potential trilogy covers. It's fairly obvious what was meant - why get all prissy and offer the pointless statement of posters being different to covers.

Perhaps you were just pissed off that no one was kissing your ass saying yours was outstanding so you spat your dummy out.

Either way, you're coming across as a bit of a dick!!!

Only 10 or so posts in and already making loads of friends i see

You should get with runnersdialzero, He is the criterion guy here. I'm sure he would be glad to help. I actually had the same idea lol and even have original artwork for a bunch of them saved already

All I wanted to do was to share images, I didn't expect it to become like this.. I apologize if I have insulted you. Also, it is within my nature to quote the poster before me if I want to talk about the same topic. If I had known it would turn out like this, I wouldn't have bothered to post anything here.

So you want the original Criterion DVD artwork just transferred over to blu ray form? Or a whole new take of those movies, kind of like Imrahil did with Robocop and Spinal Tap?

You did not, no apology necessary, I see now what you were doing, I just wasn't sure how to respond to your post as to me it was different, I meant no harm, I often don't choose my words well, the best course I see now would have been no response, I am sorry if I offended you, it won't happen again.

Just the original DVD artwork transferred to the current blu-ray style criterion (since most are the older style artwork) is what I am wanting and the other guy seemed to be implying the same

I have a Some Like It Hot Criterion. Although it looks just like the blu ray release. Which I quite liked.
