This is my first try at custom covers and obviously a WIP. I didn't modify any of the legal stuff.

Looks good. My only suggestion would be to change the text on the front from "the complete series" on each one to "the complete first season", "the complete second season", etc.

CS6 has all the features that CS5 had but a new feature for CS6 is Content Aware Move which is simply amazing. Check out the tutorial on Adobe's website.

I just finished my Lord Of The Rings covers. I was going to include pictures on the back, but they just felt out of place. I'll admit, I was tempted to just use the backs for the upcoming individual releases, but where's the fun in that? Plus, I feel that the back should always have either images or a synopsis of the film (or both), not just bonus features & all the legal stuff. These are made to fit the cases that the extended set came with (about the thickness of a DVD case).

If you want them, come and claim them!

Two more WB sci-fi titles with original key art (with The Omega Man featuring IMHO the better of the two posters that were created for it).

I've got a small request I just received a used copy of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Big screen edition I got used. It came with no slip unfortunately, and the insert has only a picture of bumblebee with no text. Does anyone have some printable art that approximates what the slip for this edition looks like? It's gonna bug the crap outta me!

Here's a scan and conversion of the Walmart slipcase for the Big Screen Edition I've made. PM me and I'll set you up.

Yes, I designed this set, but I'm afraid I can't share them in any way. They were paid commissions and remain exclusive to my client. Sorry.

I see what you did there. Sigh. It also reminds me of why I don't own these movies--they invented such awful dialog at times.
The only dialogue I can't stand are some of Gimli's lines in Return of the King; when he has his drinking game with Legolas and near the end when he says "Certainty of death, small chance of success. What are we waiting for?" That one just seems like they decided to stick it in there at the last minute. Oh yeah, and Legolas counting his kills as he's fighting, that bugs the hell out of me sometimes.

I agree that Nissen's covers are the best 007 customs out there

All my 007 customs are available on customaniacs. The original TT on the spine series starts here:
http://www.customaniacs.org/forum/cu...642-dr-no.html

I am still playing around in CS6...surprisingly there is quite a learning curve jumping from CS4 to CS6.

Love it!

I'm considering another run of 007 covers, but this time without a frame on the front. I want to be able to do the actual unaltered posters without editing even if that means empty space on the sides...would there be any interest in that or are people all 007'd out?

Something like this for example:

After Coma, Altered States, Soylent Green, and The Omega Man, this is the last of my budget WB sci-fi titles.

They're not perfect (I'm still learning!) and there was a lack of material to work with... but they'll do. I would've loved to do Outland but someone beat me to it.

Can anyone tell me where I can get Star Wars covers that would fit UK cases? I'd like to split up my Saga box set so I can make them DVD+BD combo packs, plus an extra cover for Special Features?

Something like this for example:

well I've downloaded your original white backdrop Bond run, the Gold Bond run (funny that sounds like a deodorant commercial) and I'll gladly do your "Never Say Never Again" run.....

It's funny. When I worked my initial 007 covers a cover artist commented that I should be sure to keep my files because "you'll be surprised how quickly you will revisit them". How true those words were.

I'm sure that I will continue to tinker with it, but for those who currently have the original TT run there will be a "Skyfall". If I don't do one then maybe Nissen (who I gave my template to) will.

Besides if this post (below) from the Bond thread is correct then I will need to redo my special features listing for "Casino Royale" since the press release from back in June was inaccurate:

THE ROAD TO CASINO ROYALE (26 mins)
IAN FLEMING - THE SECRET ROAD TO PARADISE (24 mins)
CHRIS CORNELL - YOU KNOW MY NAME (4 mins)
DEATH IN VENICE: THE SINKING PALAZZO (23 mins)
BECOMING BOND (26 mins)
JAMES BOND: FOR REAL (23 mins)

Extras yet to be passed:

Ian Fleming's Incredible Creation (21 mins)
Deleted Scenes (8 mins)
Picture-in-picture video commentary

This is certainly good news for those worried about whether or not all the extras will appear in Bond 50.

(Thanks to BenjaminG for this info.)

EDIT: A new trailer highlighting the special features has also been released:
