Speaking of which, here is my last Reel Heroes cover, a Hellboy cover to match the officially released Hellboy II.

I don't know if I can share this or not, but I'll ask.
Any news on this being shared???

I'm wondering if anyone has made individual covers for the alfred hitchcock collection? I got the Australian release because it's always either $99 (normal price) or $79 (with 20% off JB sales) but the downside is that it's a massively long, thin and flimsy digipak.

I love Alfred Hitchcock and will be watching his movies on blu-ray for a longgg time to come. Eventually this thing will start getting worn and torn and I'll need to have custom covers made anyway.

I don't need them printed off or put in cases. What I do need is basically just the covers in the right size and in high resolution sent to me or something. My girlfriend works in a printing shop so she can print them all out for me and I can easily get the cases.

I don't need covers for Psycho or North by Northwest because I already have both.

If you think you can help me out with this, please PM me.

Some work on Cinderella.

Will probably replace the sketch on the back with something else, but here's the WIP.

I really like the sketch on the back! The classic artwork you're using is so nice.

Paper for slips or covers?

For paper I went to Staples and at the print shop desk they have a little book with samples. I like "80 lb gloss text" for covers because it's thin. If you want something thicker like the old Universal covers then "80 lb gloss cover" is good. You can pick whatever you want and bring them a file on a USB stick and ask for a proof. That way you can see/feel it and it won't cost you anything. I even use their paper slicer to trim it and see how well it fits in the case!

[Show spoiler]

While I know it's a WIP, to be honest, I'm kind of on the fence about the cover (as in the front part of the cover).

While Mary Blair's artwork is very distinct, it just doesn't seem to fit the style of the Snow White or Pinocchio covers. Perhaps you can include it on the back instead?

Just my thoughts though.

I thought about that. But realistically, there is no way that all 50+ films will be able to follow that same style as the Snow White and Pinocchio ones. (Pinocchio didn't originally follow the same pattern of Snow White, but after a few failed attempts, I did some experimenting and ended up liking it the way it was turning out.) So rather than trying to make each one look exactly the same with different characters, I decided to go stick to a similar idea that will make sense as a collection, but not necessarily match.

I view these as individual films that are a part of a collection, so I am trying first and foremost to capture the style of each film individually, tying the collection together with a general idea rather than making it too matchy.

Thanks for your feedback though, I'll keep working on it and see what I come up with!

I see your point. Perhaps it's just because I feel the front cover seems a little flat when compared to the 3d-ness of the previous two covers.

Perhaps there is a concept art that seems more 3d?

Unless someone else orders them from Nissen, Hellboy is the last Reel Heroes style cover I am having Nissen do until Phase 2 of the MCU is complete in 2015. I am gonna focus my money on getting a Disney, Pixar and Studio Ghibli set complete

Check out EuphoricFX, as Vintrus recommended. ScottDS has made a great set for the collection.

Now that I seem to have caught up with all the currently released WWII blu-rays as far as custom covers are concerned I decided to start work on making some labels to accompany my set. Here are the first few:

Who's willing to make some cover art for me? I need original cover art though from the actual blu-ray releases. PM me if you can do it and we can discuss payment prices.

- The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
- The Social Network
- Step Up Revolution

or is there a website with these covers already made where i could print them out? what sizes would they be? any information? if you could do it and would like to be paid for it, then PM me. but if anybody could also let me know how to do it, that'd be a great second option. Thanks.

I still need to print out the Snow White you sent me! Thanks again!

Personally, I think that the Cinderella is the best one yet.

For me, the back sketch is a little jarring with the painting on the front cover. I think that it is because it looks too close to the final art. I liked in Cinderella that you used a concept landscape on the back with the concept character art on the front.

Keep em coming! This has the makings of a great line!
