Jeepers Creepers Double Feature Custome Cover by Nissen:

I appreciate the attempt at sharing the cover, but seriously... F--- that site. If you plan on sharing the artwork, just post it here, otherwise what's the point? I have no problem joining the site, or reaching the post limit... but the site won't allow me to comment or post to any of the threads, meaning I'll never be able to reach the "Special status" they require just to download artwork they don't own unless I pay them for it. If I want to pay to acquire the cover I'll just pay the Artist directly. I hate sites like that that make joining and contributing FAR more work then what it's worth.

Current status on my NIMH cover:



The picture of Mrs. Brisby on the back is just a quick-and-dirty test (and might change to something else entirely), and I already plan on re-doing the proportions and spacing of the spine TT.

The background was originally ivory to brighten up the artwork's interior white, but after thinking it was a bit drab I played around with pink and yellow from other posters for the film, until getting the inspiration to try a parchment paper texture. I think it adds some nice physicality, but if others disagree it can very easily be changed.

And I didn't know Tim Hildebrandt had done the poster until I found his signature on it yesterday.

The TT looks much better on the spine. Can I suggest ITC Benguiat for your back blurb text instead of Albertus? The TT appears to be a modified version of it (it was super popular in the '80s in general).

I agree totally with you TripleHBK, if I have to pay anything for a custom cover then I'll do so direct to artist not some website that makes it ridiculous to share and obtain artwork. That being said I really do dig what Nissen did here, anyone I have tagged here know how to obtain a copy other than that site?

Working on a replacement cover for Criterion's Godzilla. I'm not sure which bugs me more - that they used the wrong suit for the artwork or the fact it's in cardboard instead of their traditional polypropylene cases. Anyways, here's my take using the Classic Media artwork which I'm partial too. Critiques? Comments?

(This is my first cover; I'm hoping I can actually finish it instead of relegating it to the unfinished pile of projects I've got going...)

As many can attest to in this Forum, I always share my Custom covers FOR FREE even though they cost me a nice little fee to have created. I do this because on many occasions I have obtained FREE Custom Covers from others. I like uploading my Covers to EuphoricFX to share with that community however all anyone ever needs to do is PM me or Nissen and we will email you a Hi-Rez version. Also EuphoricFX is Free, it took me like one afternoon to meet their requirements for Free Downloads, it was easy and now I downlaod all I want for FREE, I have never paid to Download a Cover fro EuphoricFX

I commissioned Nissen to Create this Cover so technically it is mine although I have given Nissen Permission to share it. This is part of a "Creepshow" Cover series I have commissioned Nissen to Create. Coming after the first of the year will be Several for the "Friday the 13th" Box Set:

Just finished my custom cover for Halloween 35th Edition. To reduce file size, I saved this from a size 12 (max) jpeg to a size 2 (min). So even though it may say its full size its NOT. If you would like a copy of the full size resolution, send me a PM and I'll email you the file.
