Wow, Nissen. If I didn't like to pretend the latest 2 films were never made, I'd be all over that cover in a second!
![]() --- And as an aside to everyone, I realize this is the Custom Cover thread, but is there a place to request cover scans to replace existing damaged covers? Someone at Fox thought it was brilliant ( ![]() ![]() |

Yep, the more you buy the better deal you'll get, especially if going straight through Paypal. Plus the ship time is cut in half if located in the states.

So after "finishing" it three times over, here is my completed Secret of NIMH cover:
![]() My impetus for making this cover was twofold: using the original and exceptional theatrical poster art, and replacing the dreadfully misrepresentative artwork used since the 2007 "Family Fun Edition" DVD release. Edit: now for download on EuphoricFX. Last edited by Thomas Guycott; 09-30-2013 at 01:06 AM. |

Love it! How many years of Raw do you own? All of them? I have 96-98, which are what I consider the Greatest era of wrestling. I'd love to see all of the covers you've put together so far. In the early 2000's I was collecting Monday Night Raw's and burning them, but I gave up long LONG ago.

So, this is going to be an odd question, but I'm hoping someone with some knowledge can give me a little guidance on how to go about it.
I just bought the 3D edition of the Little Mermaid, mainly because I liked the box art MUCH better than either of the 2D releases. Obviously, since I went out of my way and spent extra just to get that cover, I am not looking to fully replace it with a custom cover. However, I am interested in making a small modification to the slipcover. I generally don't care about 3D. And with my Disney movies, I usually prefer to get the 2D versions as I like having the consistency of them having the "Disney Blu-Ray" logo at the top of the spine of each slip cover when lined up on the shelf (3D releases have a different Disney 3D logo in the same place). Obviously, the version of The Little Mermaid that I just bought has that 3D logo. Basically, what I want to do, if possible, is make a matching sticker to put over it with the regular Disney Blu-Ray logo... I want to scan the spine of the slip box to get the correct coloring (especially since it fades into other shades), get rid of the 3D logo, and put the regular Disney Blu-Ray logo on it, print it on some kind of sticker paper, cut it out, and apply it to the slipcover. I'm not looking to cover the entire spine. Just the area at the top to cover the 3D logo and put the other logo in it's place. My concerns are matching the colors correctly (scanning and reprinting isn't always accurate), getting some kind of sticker paper that has a similar glossiness as the slip cover itself and as thin as possible so it doesn't 'stick out' any more than it has to (if such a thing even exists), and basically just making this look as nice as possible. I realize that it won't be perfect. There will likely be some kind of visible line where the sticker ends and the real spine begins, and that's okay to an extent, I just want it to look as nice as possible. This is one of those projects that is really simple, yet really complicated at the same time. Any tips and advice are appreciated! ![]() |
