Custom Cover Art Thread - Page 71 - Blu-ray Forum

Can someone please help with custom covers. These are the only 3 discs that are out of step Charlie with the rest of the 500+ BDs I have. I'm look for the following covers:

1) How The West Was Won - I would prefer the scanned front of the digibook (without the blue bar "Perfet Picture/Perfect Sound" at the top and the back being the leaflet with the specs and the digibook pic like some have done for Poltergeist, JFK, etc.

2) True Blood Season 1 - Anything would be great even a redone version of the DVD set with blu-ray logos and BD disc specs.

3) A scan of the Blade Runner cover but with a 14" spine instead of the wider original one.

I have some scans which might help but I don't know how to do any covers so I'm looking for awesome cover artists to help me out. Please PM me if you would like the scans. Please let me know which cover you are attempting so that I can get you the correct scans.

Since I was so happy with my Hannibal covers I have decided to start working on the Blade Trilogy, in the same style. It still needs some work, but I am happy with how they are turning out, especially the Blade II cover.

Just looked threw all 71 pages, amazing work all around

Was wondering if anybody has or would be willing to create custom covers for Casino Royale and Quantum Of Sollice to match the classic bond Blu-ray`s ?

Edit: Never Say Never Again cover would be cool too :P

One idea. How about using the weapons to indicate the sequel number, just one blade on the first one, two on the second and three throwing whatevers on the third one.
Excellent design by the way, simple and clean, really like how the Lecter series came out in that.

While I think some of the design work here is superb and at least as good as the designers who create these for the studios, I also think you guys have WAY TOO MUCH time on your hands (and are a bit obsessive to boot).

Well I am a professional graphic designer (movie posters) and see the cover stuff as a hobby and to right some of the wrongs in movie marketing.

I'm a book designer, and for me the key word is OBSESSIVE. That explains a lot!

Move along please...I create these becasue I enjoy working in and learning more about photoshop...
I am sure you have hobbies that one person or another would think you spend to much time on.

Keep the great covers comming guys. Just installed Photo Shop on my PC today, I can see this cutting into my spare time for a while.

I am the same, I work full time and am doing a part time engineering degree, I have an essay that is due in on Friday, and I haven't even started because I am more instead in doing my Hannibal/Blade covers, than doing work relevant to my course.

Just like to point out for those using Photoshop with their text, it does have a spell check feature, just highlight the text and right click.
