Did anyone make a Phase One series of Covers that say Phase One on the Spine?
I'd like to see that and also a variant for Phase Two....

Marvel Universe: Phase One: I - Iron Man
Marvel Universe: Phase One: II - Iron Man II
Marvel Universe: Phase One: III - The Incredible Hulk
Marvel Universe: Phase One: IV - Thor
Marvel Universe: Phase One: V - Captain America
Marvel Universe: Phase One: VI - The Avengers

Marvel Universe: Phase Two: I - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel Universe: Phase Two: II - Iron Man III
Marvel Universe: Phase Two: III - Thor: The Dark World
Marvel Universe: Phase Two: IV - Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Marvel Universe: Phase Two: V - Guardians of the Galaxy
Marvel Universe: Phase Two: VI - Avengers: Age of Ultron

Marvel Universe: Phase Three: I - Ant-Man

Each one if possible should have a segmented S.H.I.E.L.D. Emblem in the background split up over each Phase in a different Colour.
Phase One, lined up will have a (Random Colour #1) S.H.I.E.L.D. Logo when next to each other on the shelf.
Phase Two will have a different Random Colour S.H.I.E.L.D. Logo when next to each other on the shelf.

For Phase I Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2 should be swapped around. Incredible Hulk came out after the first Iron Man (later that same summer) and before Iron Man 2.

I also don't think it makes sense to try and include the Agents of SHIELD series in with Phase II. This would only make any remote sense if the series were to be canceled and we only get the one season and line up that one case line up with the Phase II movies. Even then it is "iffy" since the events of Thor The Dark World took place during this season (not before or after) and it's possible the same could hold true for Captain America The Winter Soldier.

If the series does get renewed for another season and manages to keep going, it could potentially be around for years and cross into Phase III. That will just get too convoluted to try and start planning a series of custom covers now (especially one with spines that combine to make a single image or spell out a word or phrase) for a show that could have multiple season sets. Heck, even with just the movies alone, it would make sense to wait until there's at least more promotional art available for the last couple of Phase II films to actually start making those cases and combine them into a set that spells out "Phase II." And even then the last few cases couldn't be finalized until specs and extras are known for the Blu-Ray releases.

And for those who have PMed me about this set, I won't share them until they are all finished. Sometimes I have to make accomodations for things down the line which will impact the general layout retroactively. For the sake of consistency, they are not done until they are all done.
i love your vertigo cover

Season Two of Shield will be In Phase III.
I only included the last few to illustrate my point a little clearer.
But if the Spines could be worked on for at least Phase One, that'd be great, and it'll give a template for whoever does if for Phase two and Three.

Story Wise, The Majority of Iron Man 2 takes place before Hulk... The Hulk fight and Campus footage are on Nick's Monitors at the end of Iron Man 2...

I'm hearing that the 2D version of Thor 2 doesn't come with a digital copy, should I revise my 2D cover or is everyone fine with how it is?

Hi guys, I've recently decided I needed to consolidate some of my collections so I bought a bunch of multi-disc cases and I'm making some custom covers.
My collections so far:
- The Dark Knight trilogy
- REC (All I need is the forth and final movie now)
- Iron Man trilogy
- Predator collection (Pred 1&2, Predators (adrien brody), and AVP 1&2)
- The Fast and the Furious (waiting for the 7th)
- Harry Potter Collection
- X-men 90s cartoon series

I'm a minimalist so my covers aren't as pretty as many of those posted here already.

Guys, I have a question.

I was thinking about eventually updating my current blu-rays to fake Criterion covers, but still on the fence about it. I've really liked what people have been doing recently and I've always liked Criterion's larger cover art. But I'm not sure if I'd want to do that for all my blus.

Can anyone give any reasons why they use fake Criterions?

Instead of doing it for all, why not select a group you hold more dearly? Then if you gradually choose to do so, you can add more and more over time.

That is true. I was also thinking about just using the boxes but doing whatever for the covers. The clear boxes look a lot classier than the normal blu-ray cases.

i'm actually not a fan of the steelcases. my F&F 6 came in one, I didn't know when I ordered it, and I ended up recycling it.

here's where I ordered my cases from if anyone's interested. the cases are quality in my experience so far.

Does anyone have criterion cover art for Chasing Amy? I found one in a google search but I wasn't a fan of it. I was hoping for one that revolved around the comic book or something. Also needing inside art too.

Edit: Something like this, but with more professional text (font and logos are quite stretched out) and including 'a film kevin smith film' on the front. I'm gonna try to do it myself using this, but lmk.

Thanks!

A couple more of the Disney Animated Classics series I'm working on. These are designed to fit in the clear Criterion-sized cases.

#4 - Dumbo

#5 - Bambi
