I don't have a custom, but I think the Olive cover is quite snazzy.
If they'd used the whole, original poster I'd agree with you Rizor. Unfortunately they slapped something together on photoshop by a untrained monkey. Which is why I was asking if anyone had tackled and done a better job.

Only major issue was that I wasn't prepared to pay forty-odd bucks for the offiicial font (Hanford Oblique?) for the blurb.

Can we please start using spoiler tags again when quoting with pictures? I think we've kind of gotten away from that and it makes the thread much easier to get through when we all do that. Especially when thumbing through the forum on a phone.

Seems like the Criterion logo box is up a bit too high. Nice conversion though.

I can’t stand doublepacks with two unreleated movies like Mill Creek Entertainment’s release of Deep Rising/The Puppet Masters. Could someone please make custom covers for both Deep Rising and The Puppet Masters? Then I could buy 2x of this really cheap release, and sort both movies according to the alphabet.

Ditto with MCE’s release of Slipstream/The Nines.

Also: Could someone please make English artwork for the upcoming German release of The Monolith Monsters? I, for one, would be most delighted!

Great job on Foreign Correspondent! Thanks for doing this as I can't. $40 for a font? Wow, I wouldn't have minded something close, but not exact. Much appreciated!

Default Foreign Correspondent - BLU-RAY EDITION

Supernaut made a very fine cover for Foreign Correspondent (found here), but I wanted one that would be cast as a BLU-RAY EDITION. After all, it’s probably a safe bet that (like me) most people following this thread do not give a hoot about the DVDs. This cover is based on my 600 dpi scan of the Criterion slipcase, reworked to eliminate all references to DVD and associated logos. Yes, I know there are still those words in the listing of Blu-ray Special Edition Features about “uncompressed monaural soundtrack on the Blu-ray”, but changing that would have made the project immensely more difficult. I’ve also made inside art (it’s a Criterion – there has to be inside art!) which worked out well, with the chapter list falling just clear of the disc hub on my print. The inside cover has 50 pixels added in both dimensions to allow for printer offset.

The front cover is 3240x1900 pixels, sized (naturally) for the Criterion clear case.

PM me with your e-mail address to receive both the cover and the inside art.

I've recently started getting custom covers ready to print for my collection. Can anyone help me with what paper to use to print. Obviously, it needs to be thicker paper, but i need to know what paper it is. Thanks!

That's some nice work there, but you will notice I did get rid of the DVD and the Region 1 logos from the back.

BTW I'd love a copy!
