Brochure paper. Matte works best for me.

Heavier weight, bright white, and most importantly, the type paper best suited to the type of printer. Paper designed for laser printing should not be used in an ink jet printer, although you can usually use "standard" paper in a laser printer. But, paper designed for laser printing will look better.

GRAD SCHOOL IS FINALLY COMPLETED

Finished my 72-hour comprehensive exam Monday morning. All ready to once again power up my Photoshop. The break from doing covers was much needed, but last night I was working on my first BD covers in several months. First up will be "Stalag 17" the cover that was half completed when I took my sabbatical.

.

I use semi-gloss Kodak photo paper in my canon printer (that I also use to print on disks). The gloss is about perfect compared to a retail cover, but the paper is a tad thicker. Matte paper will print nice, but it won't have the sheen that retail covers do if your trying to get as close to retail as possible. I used to imprint to matte paper a lot, but after using g semi gloss or full gloss, I'll never go back.

Also here is an update the "Criterion Laserdisc" collection I decided to try and do myself, it's not the best but I am hoping it turns out well. Still have a ways to go but I am happy with the way it's starting to turn out

Nothing really amazing here, just wanted to make the cover look more like the steelbook artwork, which I like (but wasn't able to get). As usual PM me for the download link.

Always wanted to see a cover for this movie using this as the front cover, so I decided to whip one up.

I've recently made my own collection for Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

[Please pardon my lack of a good digital camera.]

I have a slideshow of the entire thing on my website here: MCU: Phase One - Blu-Ray Collection. I can post screens of all of the art if that would be easier for others to view.

I'm disappointed by some of the craftsmanship of the final piece, but I'm the only one going to be looking at it so I don't mind. Plus, I plan on re-building it when I have to make my own Phase 2 collection.

Looks incredible, though the only problem I have with it is its inclusion of the 2003 Hulk film. I get how certain people see The Incredible Hulk as its spiritual succesor, but for me it kinda looks out of place, but that's just me

Otherwise the product looks incredibly good.

Let me know if there is any interest in a collection of Disney Animated Classics using this template. If so, I will be happy to share them along the way and if not, totally cool, I'll just use them for myself!

Either way, here is the first.

Frozen
