The back is about half done but i'm having trouble deciding on a large older shot of McClane or individual shots from each movies with text from each.

this is my first post in here so if i was only supposed to put the completed work, let me know via pm and i'll delete my post.
I like it!

I'm open to any suggestions, but these are the only two things that I would consider for something for myself.
Personally I find the Italian Posters usually the most appealing, replacing the text I would put something together along these lines:

And speaking of classics, the studio cover art for The Quiet Man is quite horrible, but my previous attempts to do something with the theatrical poster have been unsatisfactory due to size and proportions. I had a bit of inspiration this morning and came up with this...

Comments? Criticisms?

me make covers too, me make simple, cause just for me

AlienarchiveCover0.jpg

seriously though, all you artists here have inspired me to make some covers,
I started off doing the the credits and stats and licensing etc.on the backs and its definitely takes some skill
then I realized I don't have clients or skill and they are being made just for me

thought I'd try posting 'em

I bought Alien and Aliens separately and the Anthology box a couple of years ago but don't care for 3 and 4 so I just kept the two archive discs and sold the rest of the boxed set so i need a cover

thanks , you're totally right , I'm gonna change it

update: done: kept it gray, for aesthetic reasons

I know that at the time of Alien it was just Weylan but I like Prometheus so I wanted some kinda of consistency but I could remove the Weyland Corp or just cut off the D for Alien if I end up hating Prometheus later on

I'll be the first one to admit I'm little more than a hack cut 'n paste'r compared to some of the guys doing this, but I get a great deal of personal satisfaction on those very rare occasions that I create a cover that is something close to what I was trying for. This is one of those times. My version of "An Affair to Remember"...

Earlier today, I also put together something I have been trying to do for "The Quiet Man". Not quite as much work here as I used the studio back, but it came out nice enough that I am not embarrassed to share it here.

Both of these are available at EuphoricFX.org, but if you can't download there, I'm happy to send in email. PM me with an email address if you want either of these.

Nice work! I particularly like An Affair, but personally I would have gone for the Spanish poster for The Quiet Man:

Or perhaps this one:
