Another cover for one of the films in the new Eastwood box set released in Europe. The Beguiled is, perhaps, one of Eastwood's lesser known films, and after you see it, you'll understand why. Decidedly not the average Eastwood fare, this was one of a number of collaborations between Eastwood and Don Siegel, another the iconic Dirty Harry, which was released later the same year as The Beguiled. Dirty Harry got its place in cinema history while The Beguiled, a far more complex and layered story, is barely a footnote.

This cover was one of the most difficult I have attempted so far. Virtually all the art for is film is atrocious. What I consider the best of what is out there is a terrible color of yellow. I fooled around with some of the tools in one of the graphics programs I use and was able to come up with something that doesn't make me want to puke. Yellow is still the primary color, but not so bad...

by the looks of it, you used the French cover, and yeah, the original yellow was pretty bad, lol. here are some other Beguiled poster art that i have found.

That Smokey and the Bandit is awesome…except I just realized the Trans Am isn't on the front…if that's the original poster, I can't believe it wasn't on there.

Yep that was the original 1 sheet. The Trans Am was not the focal point of the film when it came out...

Im a member at most of the cover sites but have not been able to find a custom or a scanned cover for the film Giant that was released in digi book. If anyone knows of one/location please let me know thanks so much. Oh and is anyone planning on doing a cover for Elvis That's the Way it is, also a digi book (yuck!)

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this thread, and I don't want to be stepping on any toes, but I was wondering if I could make a request. Is that bad form?

I'm looking for custom covers of the Child's Play/Chucky films. Preferably with the original poster art on the covers. Maybe a picture on the spines too... Like one of the ones that makes a picture when you put them all together.

I know, I'm a total newb. Sorry

Just trying to go through all the pages in this thread, and it's quite the undertaking, but sweet Jesus! there is soo much beautiful work in here!!!

Yeah, I saw those two. While they are really nice, I was looking more for individual cases for each movie.

I noticed Universal is finally getting around to releasing Firestarter in a couple of weeks. There isn't much in the way of custom art, and virtually all the studio art is that photo of Drew Barrymore with the hair. Despite that, Universal's cover could use some work so I basically remade it, particularly the lower half of the back was re-done from scratch. The front art is actually completely different. If you want is, EuphoricFX is the place (or send me a PM with an email address ).
