A Clone Wars Season 1 cover. I wasn't sure how many discs are included becuase I don't own the season. So I just made this one for a regular case. I'm still having trouble settling on fonts for my spines. As always I am open to any suggestions.

The preview does, the real thing doesn't.

Yea, I have downloaded Bunny Dojo's 28 Days Later cover and it's really cool. I just really don't like the back of that one so much, it kind of kills the custom cover vibe for me.

Trainspotting is worth the rental, or the read if you opt for Irvine Welsh's novel, but that's much more challenging ha.

My personal opinion is that you should download and us the actual Star Trek (or Wars) font instead of that bubbly one. Also, for me personally, I wouldn't make it vertical on the spine, just make it horizontal and face it the same way as all others.

Other than that, looks good so far.

Can someone explain to me what the Netflix disc is? Is it something i can't get being a UK resident?

It allows you to use the Netflix Instant Streaming service through your PS3. When you put the disc in (supplied free by Netflix) it accesses your Netflix account and allows you to watch the available titles instantly on your TV through the PS3.

I believe it's only available in the U.S. for now unfortunately.

All the disc does is enables your PS3 for instant streaming from your qeue. Just like XBOX live, but with XBOX live you don't need a disc. You need to insert the disc into your PS3 everytime you wish to watch instant stream. It's pretty cool. The thing is that I can't tell if it's an actual blu-ray or not. It doesn't say anywhere but it looks like a blu-ray rather than a DVD.

The reason people are creating these creative awesome covers for it is because it's a free disc that they ship to you and you keep it, don't have to return it, but they send it to you in a paper mailer.

Well, here's my crack at Star Trek, used the inverse poster as suggested. There are two versions, one just a bit simpler and cleaner than the other ... It's a preference thing.

Agreed on posting a link. I have the original versions but I don't have photoshop to change the spine myself. I'm sure the original author wouldn't mind posting the files after modification as long as credit was given (which it already has been), unless he wants to come forward and post modified files himself.

I settled a couple days ago on a scan of the original cover (I have the steelbook and I usually take the movies out and put them in plastic cases and store the steelbook away)
But seeing bpmford latest, I might use it since it is awesome.
