That looks awesome, I love the fact you kept the Japanese characters.

I myself have decided to make a set of three covers to use on ten disc cases and collect them that way. Right now they are a work in progress as I am looking for the Toho monster icons

Nice! But I can't stand the Digital Copy/Ultraviolet blurb.
I was heavily considering making a Millenium Series cover for a 5-6 disc Viva Elite. Not right now, but later.

Actually, I measured my Viva and Vortex cases by hand some time ago; these are the numbers that resulted...

Viva Elite (1 to 3 discs)

Panels 1520 px each, spine 150 px

10 & 23/32" x 5 & 7/8"
3216 x 1760 px @ 300 ppi
Panels 1520 px each, spine 176 px

Viva Elite (7 to 10 discs)
11 & 1/25" x 5 & 7/8"
3312 x 1760 px @ 300 ppi
Panels 1520 px each, spine 272 px

Vortex (1 & 2 discs)
10 & 7/10" x 5 & 7/8"
3210 x 1760 px @ 300 ppi
Panels 1540 px each, spine 130 px

Vortex (3 & 4 discs)
10 & 23/30" x 5 & 7/8"

Not a bad start, but that flag is way too low-res. The pose from "The Avengers" is cool, but I'd recommend this one for the first film. The preview may look odd, but the image itself was carefully extracted from a grey background.

Thank you, it's my first one that I will probably be working on forever. I bought a few movies that didn't come in their original cases and had absolutely no cover art. These movies are; Captain America: The First Avenger, Fallen (Miniseries), The Switch, Paranormal Activity 2, Charlie St. Cloud, and The Bodyguard.

It will probably take me 6 months to a year to finish these off. I'm really trying to be artistic, but my damn fingers are suffering from arthritis.

Rule #1 for printed image design: always start with the biggest, clearest images you can find. Shrinking them down for a custom cover is much easier than trying to enlarge a smaller image. The latter is possible, but it takes tons of computing power and lots of time.

Well, I was going to upload another draft of Captain America using the image suggested, but the upload keeps failing.

Not bad; I like the new flag background. The title on the spine is a little too big; you always need to leave a little bit of space for the bending of the cover. For example, if the spine is 150 pixels wide, the title and logos shouldn't be any wider than 110 or so.

first off, i apologize for the size of the pic, but i wanted it big enough for all to see it up close. so if you are going to quote me in a response, please ensure to delete the picture, so it isn't shown 10 times on the page.

ok, so, like i said earlier, its set up for the 15mm spine 4 disc set. on the back, i added the John Larroquette opening quote, the collectors edition write-up and of course, its extras.

i know its not going to please everyone's standards, and everyone wants something different or changed, i'm just going for something that everyone can enjoy, if they want it.

thoughts?? suggestions??? before i upload the finished project for everyone.

I would put the dark sky films logo (red in color to match everything) on the top of the spine. And also center "the texas chainsaw massacre" words on the spine (put it more in the middle). Can't think of anything else.
