Custom Cover Art Thread

Hi there I have the criterion zatoichi boxset and I've seen there are custom covers so I can take them out of the huge box and house them into three 9 disc sets without feat of scratching them! The custom covers I've seen are dead links, does anyone have a link for the cover? would be highly appreciated, many thanks, matt

I do not want scans of the TT covers, I would prefer custom covers with no mention of TT at all on the cover, I ordered the German versions but want English covers

Has anyone tried printing on poster board, the kind schools ask you to use for class projects? I was looking at some at Walmart and it looks like it would be perfect to print out Slipboxes for WB shows. I'm working on making Slipboxes for seasons 6 & 7 of Smallville in PS and would like to know if it'll work out great, or turn into a disaster. lol

Is anyone planning on doing covers for the Batman 1966 tv series? I'd love to be able to put the discs from the limited edition in proper blu ray cases (single width three disc, single width six single width and single width four) and put the box away as it takes up a lot of space.

I'm planning to at some point. I'll probably use a 12mm 3-disc case for Season 1 and 14mm ones for Seasons 2 & 3. I don't think they make 12mm ones that hold 6 discs. I'm probably going to use this on the front without the banner at the top:


I'll probably just use the same design for all 3 seasons and list the episodes on the back. I may make each one a different color; red for season 1, purple for Season 2 and green for Season 3.

14mm is fine. That's how wide Aussie single width cases are anyway.

Is there an option other than Imandix (which stopped working for me with a cryptic message) to create 3-D mockups of BD cases - especially the thicker multi-disc ones ? If someone can point me to Photoshop templates for this, I would appreciate it.

Some people on the Big Hero 6 thread were hoping that there would be exclusive covers for the Blu-ray
release with each of the characters featuring on a cover, so I thought it might be fun to give people the
option with this title and make covers for everyone.
There will also be a standard cover that fits in line better with the rest of the collection, but here are the
six character covers.

There's a really cool set of DVD covers over at HiResCovers.net which have the episodes listed on the back. The same person also worked up a Blu-ray cover for the movie that was released a number of years ago. They can be downloaded here (...subscription required to download). Was thinking about maybe sending the author a message to see if they were interested in working up some Blu-ray versions of the DVD covers they had done now that the TV show is out on Blu-ray as well. That being said, I took some time this evening to incorporate the covers into My Movies for WMC7 after first firing up Photoshop and modifying them per making them appear to be intended for the Blu-ray release. End result shown below.

(Update: The author of the DVD customs has since worked up Blu-ray versions of the covers as well. Pics below updated.)

Not sure if the case I've got is Viva Elite. I keep my Marvels in regular sized blu-ray case for 6 discs.

Yes, there are plans for Phase Two and Three, but with Phase Two I gotta wait for Avengers and Ant-Man pictures.
