It's been a while since I shared a preview of any of these but the great Nissen is still working on that Disney collection for me that uses the early 80's vhs clamshell design, here is an alternate version I did for Aladdin, this one will not be in the collection when/if I have him share it. I did this one just for me because I love the "Hug" image and wanted it as the front. I am shooting for a spring completion for this set. Nissen does a few of these at a time when he isn't busy with other stuff or wants a break from doing the difficult stuff lol. he has already completed 37 of the 54 covers needed for the series and I hope to possibly have him do the same style for Pixar & Studio Ghibli in the future

For a while, I've had some thoughts about custom art. My idea is the entire Bond series, each using the backs of the 2012 editions, but the original theatrical poster art on the fronts. Simple front swap mainly, but decrease the spine width to the slim case size, as seen in the Matrix and Batman box sets. The whole set wouldn't take as much space.

Anyone have custom covers for House of Cards (US version - both seasons) ? These have some of the worst packaging I have ever seen.

Ok... I have a wee bit of a problem here. I have applied the pixel size that was for my case but when I printed it out it was smaller than I expected. Am I doing something wrong?

I agree about the packaging. A perfect example of form over function. Completely impractical and not friendly to the discs at all. That being said, I scrapped together cover art last night for each season based on the retail packaging. Ok... well, I wasted my coloured ink to nothing trying to figure out the pixel sizes that would print to the specification. When I first did it, it was small in length and height, then I did something, now everything is too big. I'm so tired and a bit frustrated trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. If there's anyone out there that can give me a bit of input, I would gladly appreciate it.

Download the free program UnderCoverXP. It will automatically size your cover for Blu Rays. It's limited in that it only has one pre-set for Blu Rays, but I use it for all of my standard single/double disk cases without problem. It really is fool proof.

Just a bit of a problem with my AVG, it kept deleting it so I disable the sucker until I have fully downloaded undercoverxp. This is the closest I've come to having it at the right measurment. Thank you everyone for your assistance. I was dying over here.

Yes, I'm including Caprica in there -- it's only on Blu-ray in France of all places, but I just ripped my DVDs and burned the contents onto two Blu-ray discs for consistency.

Beautiful job. Is your Caprica custom available for download? I own the French release and scanned the original cover art for use with My Movies for WMC7 and the My Movies mobiles apps. Would love to go with your custom instead though. Again, beautiful job.

Also, did you ever by chance work up conventional covers for the individual seasons of BSG, including The Razor and The Plan? Just curious. I do subscribe to a number of cover art websites, but haven't found a set of customs I'm particular happy with.
