Alphabetical order - good point.

I throw out few names in the Phase 2 cover. Too many names brings chaos.
Why not just remove the names altogether. That's what I'd do.

Someone should do badass Eva Green covers for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For and 300: Rise of An Empire.

Canada Thank you!!!

I was forwarded back to this thread to see that I've had an outpouring of support. I want to thank each and every one of you for your words of encouragement.

I didn't know that I was "blowing up" the thread. I didn't know that I was annoying anyone with my posts. I am a beginner and I've officially graduated from Paint and am now onto Paint.net. With Gimp, I'm still scratching my head.

To Robert George who felt it necessary to correct my grammar and then turn around and insult my intelligence... English is not my first language and I'm positive that everyone, including yourself knew exactly what I was saying... and to me, yes, a custom cover art is all about the picture and the reason I don't have any information or a professional looking cover is because I do this for myself and I know what my movies are about. I share in case others may want them as well.

To AmishParadise who felt it necessary to unsubscribe to this thread because you felt I was blowing it up could have mentioned it in a more polite way rather than attacking me. So I'm sorry you felt that way and I'm sorry for blowing up the thread. Hell, I'm Canadian so I'm sorry for everything.

To Nissen, lomadu, CrampedMisfit, Habunkey, jstxanothrxstory, Nemo ET, movieman, Elvis, Stardragon, and Dynamo of Eternia, I want to thank you all so much for your words of encouragement and support it means so much to me.

I promised I would not post anymore images on this thread, so, with the help from lomadu (thank you so much for putting up with me) I've started a tumblr account and am continually posting my covers there. If anyone is interested in following me, you may do so here:

Thank you all again! I just feel like I really can't thank you all enough.

Cheers,

Understanding that English is not your first language, I suppose that may be why you misunderstood my very brief comment to be insulting your intelligence and correcting your grammar, neither of which were explicit nor implied.

If this thread is only for compliments without critique, then perhaps it is I that has misunderstood something.

As I ended my previous post, to each his own.

I like the names. I think that lots of details make covers look better. Names, quotes, logos, stars etc. Then it looks more like an official cover and not custom one. And I like my customs to look as much official as possible

Glad you're back! I really do like your "less is more" approach. I'll admit when I make a cover, I want it to look official, but sometimes having all of the specs/legal info on the back can just make things look too cluttered.

The second phase in almost finished form. I need more good posters of Avengers and AntMan to fully finish it. But there it is.

I'm also thinking about making the cover for TV part of Phase Two with Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

Where do I find a case for this? How many discs will it hold? I love this.

I'm not sure how is this profesionally called. I've got them online. It fits 6 discs.

Quick and dirty mod:

Now that the "quote" and the BR logo is gone, you have the ability to shift the "poster" image down some, and create a second row of names at the top if you feel it necessary (like Sam Jackson, Robert Redford, etc.)

Same with the P1 cover -- you may not need to add additional names, but moving the P1 logo down will make it look like Tony Stark's being cut off at the knees.

Regarding the TV shows: Only Agents of Shield S1 and S2, Agent Carter S1, and Daredevil will be part of Phase Two. Jessica Jones won't air until long after Ant-Man, which as been described as the end of Phase Two.

Additionally, BR cases only go up to 10 discs, you may need to split off Carter and Daredevil separately from AoS, which had 5 discs for S1.
Hmm, interesting. I will look into it. In the Phase 1 cover there is a quote, and I like that quote there. I'm looking for some quote for Phase 2.

The TV Shows are just teoretically. For fun. I don't think I will buy them (Daredevil maybe), but I don't like Agents od SHIELD that much to own it and to re-watch it, like I do with Marvel Movies.

Okay, I know that there are a LOT of James Bond custom covers out there.
Here's my attempt using the CBS FOX Video template:

I am hoping to do the rest of the movies as well, all the way up to and including SPECTRE in this format.

Dude, flippin awesome. If I didn't already have the amazing boxset, I'd be all about this.

P.S. I just got your Predator cover printed and displayed on my shelf today. Looks great!

Loving it! Looks like what we should have had from the Paramount/Warner to Begin with! I'm impressed by the number of special features you've rounded up as well. Really looking forward to this one!

Right click the broken image link and select to open Image (in new tab if using google chrome). After the image loads it should load on the forum as well.

Just out of curiosity , when you do custom covers or replace horrid packaging, what do you do with them (the old packaging) , throw them out or box them up and put them away?

If it's a movie that I am reasonbly sure I won't trade in at some point, i usually throw it away. Sometimes, though, I reverse the old art and use it as inner artwork for the packaging.
