Exodus, the 1960 epic from Otto Preminger and starring Paul Newman set at the establishment of the state of Israel is out in Europe in a couple of different releases (France and Germany that I know of). My latest has the specs for the Germany release. For this cover I used the iconic poster art done by the great Saul Bass.
PM me or get it from EuphoricFX.org. |

As mentioned a few days ago, I was very p*ssed off with the awful photo-shopping on the cover of Smokey and the Bandit, so I decided to knock one up myself.
It's a conversion of the original CIC cover, and I was able to get hold of a great scan of it, with some brushing/cleaning up required. It's a little sparse, but it's faithful to the source material. As before, apologies for the crappy photo - I had to compress the Hell out of it to get it uploaded. |

I figured this would be the best place to ask: Could someone tell me the font used on the back of Criterion Collection covers for the description, features, etc.? I'm having trouble figuring it out as I'm currently trying to make a new Criterion cover for one of the movies I own.

Oh yes. I'll do both versions. Unfortunately I've had to put finishing this and my Dirty Harry set on pause as I have some other chores that need my attention more. I'll get back to them in a day or two. |

No need to equivocate. I was asking for opinions and that's exactly what I was looking for. I actually agree that a more complete image would look better, but that sort of version of the "ghost" image does not seem to exist. Cropping it down seems the only way to get any version of that part of the image without the house.

There is nothing saying you can't have both to choose from. I like the "face only" as it stands out from the typical "face over the house" cover.

I wasn't saying there shouldn't be a choice. Just the image of the face needs to be complete. That's all I was saying.

I keep seeing people throughout the forum hopeful that this will be released at some point on bluray. This is NOT a post confirming that it will be, but rather just another VHS conversion for anyone that wants this for the eventual day that it is released.
Had to change up some of the stills. Enjoy! ![]() |

![]() The covers for Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and Skyfall are all available on my blog.
Spectre will be available in 2016 with the Blu-ray release of the film. These covers are inspired by krallbaki's Spectre Poster found here: http://krallbaki.deviantart.com/art/...ster-513832211 ![]() |

Hey, Guys! I am working on a custom BD cover for one of my very favorite films... DUEL. I HATE the cover that is coming in May. Freakin' terrible! But to remedy this, I am making a cover that is heavily inspired by the old VHS cover... My cover is even better than the VHS because whoever edited the poster for the VHS erased too much of certain parts of the artwork, very sloppy. Here mine is:
![]() What do you guys think??? It took me hours to redo this poster for the BD cover, Well worth the time. I should have this cover done soon, I do not get time to work on these customs non-stop... Just in my spare time. Last edited by cramped_misfit1990; 02-19-2015 at 10:47 PM. |

I know this will likely be packaged as a 2-movie collection on 1 disc, but regardless, I prefer to have one movie per case, so I thought I'd give people the option to have individual covers for the package films as well.
