I disagree...if it's not your work then you should report it to the original owner if you care too and there solves the problem. Or you could just PM the offender but I think airing it out in public is the wrong answer.

Let me rephrase this and then lets get back to the cover art that this thread is about.

As I said, I've been doing covers in this thread for over 2 years, and I have seen the chaos caused by others posting stuff not belonging to them. Either claiming it to be thier own, or just posting on here from membership cover sites. IF the original artist want his work posted here, he knows how to post here because usually an artist wont say "sure post my work everywhere". Can't say I've seen that. And trust me, we do tell the original artist if his work is being posted, just more work for everyone to get it removed, or embarassment for the one who posted it etc... The best and easiest way to solve all those problems is DON'T POST OTHERS WORK. How simple is that to make this site what its suposed to be? I know for one I'd rather be spending my time making covers then traking down people to tell them whats happened. If it doesn't happen, no ones getting aired out in public. Which they will if it happens. This thread is a way for talented artists to display and offer custom covers to the public. Not a collective library for people to start posting covers they've found around the internet. Otherwise submit your own work to a cover site, or pay the fee and join a cover site. Again if we start seeing that happen again, many of us will start dropping like flies again. No one wants to see that when there is a simple resolution.

So now that propper edicate and courtesy is re-explained, lets all get back to making great covers. I've seen some great new artists in here really blooming!

Did you ever complete the battlestar covers that you were working on? I remember you posted season 1 but do not recall seeing the remainder. Yours are my favorite customs I have seen of the BSG covers and even though I made a set for 10 2 disc cases, I am now wanting to shrink down my collection and would like to use the ones that you made as i Have extra Blank 6 disc cases.

I am a little shocked that there are not more "set" covers out there. I found a few for the Ocean's trilogy and a couple Bourne covers but this is the first Terminator set cover I've seen. I've also come up dry when looking for set covers for:

Austin Powers
Rambo
Hellboy
Pirates: Seen a couple but none that were amazing

Am I just not looking in the wrong places?

Im hoping to finish Galactica, AVATAR, Gone with the Wind and a few others by weekends end... hmmm well at least 1 or 2 by the weekends end! lol

dv8 is completely correct. The simple solution is just to only post your own work, even if you already have it and someone requests it. If they want it so bad, they will find it or we can tell them where we got it from so they can get it themselves.

Covers are going to move around, we understand that, just keep the original artist's hard work in mind, and avoid posting their work for everyone else.

Yes, please, let's get back to covers!

) you may add face of the enemy and the plan to your covers, is that still in the plan or are you sticking strictly to the official specs? Just curious.

good stuff dv8 already printing the gone with the wind cover as we speak.....and i agree whole heartedly with dv8 i tryed to make some of my own custom covers and its rediculously hard so if i saw someone steal my work i'd be pissed to its hard stuff and these guys here make it look easy so i don't wanna see them go cause some idiot doesn't want to respect there wishes.....don't be the idiot that ruins it for us all....keep up the good work boys

Not to be too picky, but I noticed a few errors. The first line on the back should read "Family saga". First line of paragraph two should read "Civil War-era". The commentary is by Rudy Behlmer. And under the specs, the movie is listed as 16x9 1.85:1 when it is 1.33:1.

Also will you be making a version that lists disc two's extras (from the box set)? Thanks.

Thanks for point those out... that's what happens when I rush. All fixed and uploaded again.

I will see what I can do to make one with the extras. I have them that I was using on the first draft, maybe I can work them in somehow.

dv8 - I'm not rushing you whatsoever. . .but any luck reducing the spine to 9/16" on the TQuad cover? I love the way it looked when it printed and can't wait to have it!
