Custom Cover Art Thread

Here are a couple I cooked up for me. The first is Sky Captain with my preferred poster art...



Next is a US style cover for the German release of The Hindenburg. BTW, although not noted on my cover, this release included the German versin of this film with about 10 minutes cut out. One can only imagine what they don't like. Fortunately, the original version appears to be intact.

Was going back through a couple of the Disney Animated Classics collection I made to tweak a few things, fix a few errors, and in the process I started coming up with a modified design. So I went back through the whole collection and made made some alternate versions. Some have the same artwork, some have new artwork, some of them don't match the others on the back, but they all have screen caps from the film. I also created inside artwork for all of the films. Anyway, here are the first few.

Can anyone get or find a high res scan of the UK VHS box art for Vanishing Point (1971)?



(I mean, really it's a couple of dirt layers in photoshop and some simple shapes, so it would be cake to rebuild if you had the proper photo, but that's another story.)

can't seem to find a hi res scan, but i did manage to find the other pics in the picture to try and create the cover. sent ya a pm with my quicky version.

The people that post their work here are ALL amazing, it just depends on what kind of style you are looking for as everyone has different styles creating their covers.

No way anyone can post just 5 users putting up awesome covers. Everyone here post AWESOME covers!

In my country it has not been released in Bluray.

Alright, I think I've finally made enough mundane posts to include pictures and links, so here goes. As much as I love the discussion of BD transfers, I've become hesitant to enter into it, with the constant, anger-filled arguing that has become synonymous with the internet. In the past, I'd shared my covers on AVS, but that became a ghost town, so now I'm here.

First off, here's something new, for Ron Howard's Rush. I enjoyed this film so much, I started watching Formula 1 for the first time, even if it's a shadow of what it once was. Since the official cover was the generic "big heads" style, I made this one.
