Hey guys, I'm looking for input here. any thoughts on this cover for 13-ghosts?

You might want to put the title on the cover and maybe shrink the title on the spine as the dimensions look a bit big to fit. The back looks good, except I don't know whether you are thinking of putting a synopsis on the back? Also, you may want to separate Thirteen from Ghosts a bit because it sort of looks like one word right now.

I don't like too much text on my covers, I go minimalistic. I wasn't too sure of the spine size, I will definitely re-measure and make it smaller. Separating thirteen and ghosts was on my mind and I forgot! annnnd, i'm going to take out the pictures on the back and just leave the symbols. will return with draft number 2.

If you're using 143px for your spine you should leave about 30px for the bend which amounts to your text being 113pxls. Hope that helps!

I was working in centimeters, measured total width at 26.5cm, the spine being about 1cm. I measure 13.25 to get the middle and added 1cm either way for the spine, so I ended up with a 2cm spine. definitely thanks for that!

here's the second draft. I like think i'll be going with it

The reason I measure in px is because that is the only thing I pay attention to when I'm working on my program.

Since there is news that Sony will be releasing Christine soon, I was wondering if anyone did a Christine custom cover without the TT logo? I'm looking for a cover with the original poster art!

Yeah, the back took quite a bit longer. I usually do the front and spine in Paint.net and finish it up with the text in Gimp. I do not know too much in Gimp to do the whole cover in it, so for now I just do what I can.

I'm working with a version of Photoshop that is about a decade and a half old. LOL

I appreciate the effort (and the PM!). My plan as of now is to go with this however and maybe make a few adjustments myself.

Gimp is a free software that you can download here http://www.gimp.org/downloads/

I think it's somewhat like photoshop though I don't exactly know since I've never used photoshop. I'm kind of old so learning new software is definitely a process. I think I'm pretty good with paint.net now though. It took me awhile to transition to that from regular mspaint

Stellar work as always man. I've got more than a few of your Marvel covers in my own personal collection now and it really makes them pop on the shelf, been commented on by more than a couple of people

Has anyone made any customs for the Van Damme 5 pack that reflect either the original poster or VHS art. The Quest is alright, but Street Fighter's individual art is piss poor and Hard Target, Sudden Death & Lionheart don't have any.

Also, a lot of cult classics from Cannon have been making their way to blu, but their cover art is either poor or lackluster. Movies like The Delta Force, Missing In Action 1 & 2 and Death Wish 2, 3 and 4, which all have awesome posters or VHS art, but lazy blu cover art. Has anyone made or thought about taking a crack at customs for these?

Hello to all. I've been contemplating hundreds of pages of awesome cover art made by you guys and i'm amazed.

Just want to ask maybe 2 questions.

Does anyone know where I can find/how to make custom(or scanned) criterion blu ray covers for new releases(or relatively new)?

And I would like to make a request if that's at all possible. i see that most have access to Euphorix wich to my knowledge now, is a paid site and can get me some covers?

Namely:
-Truth about Emanuel
-Impostor
-Shell
-The Raid 2
-The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby
-Y tu mama tambien
-Lost River
