Did you search movieposterdb.com? If they have the posters you're looking for you have to sign up for a membership and pay a nominal fee to download.

I want to 1.) Learn how to make my own custom covers and 2.) Make my own custom covers. I can't afford Photoshop, so I've tried downloading programs like Gimp, and Paint.net to no avail. The programs are either loaded with Malware or require me to make Yahoo my homepage/download a PC cleaner in addition to the program download. I'm eager to learn how to make my own covers, but not if I can't download a program to do so in the first place.
I'm asking for help from anyone on the forum. Recommend a good program? A decent way to get it? A way to do all of this without placing a virus on my computer?? Please, someone, ANYONE, help. Please reply here or PM me. This is getting ridiculous. |

I don't make my own covers, but as far as Gimp is concerned, it's legitimate software. There's no malware. I have it on all my machines and use it routinely. There may be a prompt for you to ad a toolbar or change a search engine upon initial install, but I don't remember. Whatever the case, all you have to do is un-check the option and only install the Gimp software. It is free, after all.

Hey friends. I know this has been mentioned probably a million times before, but can someone tell me the dimension for a Criterion blu-ray insert using Preview on a Mac? I've printed I don't know how many fails just going by pixel size and can't seem to get it just right...

You are not going to find a "free" graphics program that doesn't have some strings attached. If you want a reliable, well-established graphics program, you will have to pay a few bucks for it; however, there is a way to get one of these programs at a good discount. The two programs I have used are Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop Elements. These programs are updated about once a year, and if you buy the latest version, you will pay close to full price (between $80 and $100). However, if you go to Amazon, you will find the older versions of these programs selling for a lot less, yet these older versions will have all the features you need to create custom covers. For example, the latest version of Paint Shop Pro is called X8 and it sells at Amazon for $67.49, while version X7 sells for only $28.94. Likewise, the current version of Photoshop Elements is 14 and it sells for $99.00, while version 13 sells for $59.99. You can purchase the programs as downloads or by mail in boxes. Each program comes with a detailed user guide in PDF format, as well as access to free tutorials. I hope this information is useful and will keep you from getting pissed. Visit Amazon and look around; you may even find something cheaper, but these are the programs I would recommend. If you have any more questions, just ask. |

Also, because I know I am going to be anxious to get started as soon as I download the program. Are there certain templates I need to create a blu ray cover? I dare say I am a babe in the woods when it comes to designing my own covers. As advised above, I'll probably be downloading Paintshop Pro X7. So, any help with templates would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Is it possible to make a box set in form of the Star Wars Comlete Saga in Blu Ray for another series. I want to try to make The Marvel Phases in that format & even use the cover art from the first phase one release. Please help.
