Anyone have any advice for re-working a DVD cover for a Blu Ray Case? Proportionately speaking... There are a handful of Digital HD releases that I'd like to get burned to disc complete with Menu/Art etc that are unlikely to ever have Blu Ray releases. At the forefront of my mind is the Documentary "My Amityville Horror". Of course I'd love to have completely original artwork, but since I currently lack the skill for such a task, converting the existing DVD artwork while making a few minor changes (such as removing the dvd logo, etc) seems a bit more within my grasp. Any help/suggestions for those that have done such conversions in the past?

Basically that the reason the original poster is off center is because a fourth Ghostbuster was omitted.

Single cover for all 10 disc or separate covers for each disc

I am looking to create a 8-10 blu disc Martin Scorsese Collection. Has anyone made one yet? It doesn't have to be specific with titles either. If not, anyone up for creating something like this?

Um...Ernie Hudson wasn't omitted by Nissen if that is what is being implied. He wasn't there originally.

Of course it's not Nissen's fault. The marketing materials for the first film just tended to marginalize the character. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ul-career.html

Interesting. I always figured it had to do with the fact that the script was constantly evolving/changing. I assumed most of the promotions were done early in production.

I would love single covers (with the original theatrical posters) for each Friday the 13th film. I have that for the Nightmare on Elm Street series and while there are obviously blank cases due to dual films per disc, they look damn good on my shelf.

Gentlemen, I took I KEEL YOU's post as a joke. A satirical slam in the present day hypersensitivity. I don't think he was literally calling anyone a racist (least of all Nissen). I may be giving him more credit than what's due, but I just don't think that was his intention.

I'm not sure how that would work as the blu rays for 5&6 and 7&8 are two movies on one disc. But yes, I would love custom covers for the series that reflect the original VHS art, just for the nostalgic nut in me

Probably because Winston Zeddemore was originally written for Eddie Murphy, and when that fell through, the character's role in the movie was drastically reduced.

In general, I like it for a first try. I based the overall look off the previous single DVD releases. Something's off with the font I used for the movie description, though. I can't tell if it's the font, or the size, but something feels wrong. Any pointers? Anything else seem out of place or weird?

Also, how do I make the awesome mock-ups that people are showing here with the insert in a digital case? Thanks!
I also agree with other poster to remove credits from front poster and enlarge.

But I love how you made the barcode smaller so the movies scenes are more prominent. nice work and can't wait to see all the final results.

The cases for 6 and 8 would be empty (as my cases for NOES 5 and 7 are empty). I know it's ridiculous, but the custom covers are exceptional. It just looks nicer to me.

Looking good!

Curious for Episode's IV-VI are you toying with the special edition poster art or original?

Thanks! Probably the special edition art. That's really what the films are, and they better match the prequel posters.
