I really want to like this series and will continue to watch it for now, but damn.
I just find it so stale and not at all enticing. So flat. No emotion with seemingly weak acting/characters. To be honest, I think Flight 462 alone was and would have been more exciting for a series. Guess we'll see how the season progresses and it's ratings. |

The only interesting one is Strand. But the season 2 trailer at the end of the episode had Daniel going, "We have to get rid of Strand!" So they'll make him the shady guy who is pragmatic and views people as useful only as long as they can do things for him (why else bring these annoying people along?), he'll probably manipulate them into some dangerous situations so he can use them, not caring if they die, and since he's "the bad guy," he'll get done away with. Then Madison's "we won't throw you overboard" joke will end up being foreshadowing and they toss him overboard. ![]() I like Strand and he says what we were all thinking. He got in Alicia's face and told her she was being an idiot for communicating on the radio. He's the only interesting and worthwhile character on this show so of course he'll probably be done away with by the midseason finale, leaving us stuck with angst-ridden pouty boy Chris, the insufferable, teenage cliche Alicia, and the dopey, wide-eyed Nick. Oh, and "do you smell that?"-face Madison, Whitebread Travis, might-as-well-be-a-piece-of-furniture Ofelia, and her father, the Gorton's Fisherman. |

The only character I don't care for is Chris. Don't like the way he's written he's too self-centered, super immature and bratty. I thought the episode was just ok. The show pulled a walker move that I despise. First there is no walkers then walkers are everywhere out of nowhere. This was done on the beach nothing, then all of sudden they are surrounded and fighting for their lives. That's gimmicky and forced, just show the scene initially with walkers on the beach approaching.
If I was show runner, I would limit the frequency that we see zombies in the water alive or appear to swim. It just looks sooo silly we're already suspending our belief considerably, but now swimming zombies. Not a good look. Strand is the best character thus far. |

And yes I hope the zombies aren't swimming. Now I understand if they are floating. Bodies do float sometime in the water but after a certain amount of time they do submerge. Last edited by neoz; 04-11-2016 at 02:21 PM. |

Lots of people actually do, now going for a swim when there is some form of fog/smoke near the boat is f*cking stupid. That doesn't even set off anyone's alarm either that there is fog/smoke creeping around and two of their guys are just swimming like nothing could go wrong... like getting lost in the smoke, in the middle of the ocean.
