Loved the episode! Some scene were very intense! My favorites characters are definitely Nick (Frank Dillane) and Travis (Cliff Curtis)!

Pretty decent episode actually
Although I'm getting pissed sometimes about how stupid and gullible some of characters are like Alicia. To quote Mulder "Trust no one". |

I believe a timeline has been established with S2 Ep 1. of FWD and TWD. In S2 Ep 5. titled Chupacabra in TWD the intro showed the Napalm bombing of Atlanta. Even though it was a flashback scene one could reasonably assume the execution of Cobalt would have had to happen in ATL either before or after the LA bombing but within 1-7 days of each other of all major cities across the US.
In Days Gone Bye S1 ep 1 of the TWD Shane (my boy) and the crew are already set-up outside ATL at the their camp, which means the bombing already occurred. I think this places the cast of Fear on the beach roughly when Shane and the gang are outside ATL slightly before the episode Days gone Bye. Last edited by Malik True; 04-13-2016 at 12:12 AM. |

an Ok episode to me, not enough of an impact for a new season opener. The show for me takes too long to set up an Ok story. I find it kinda risky going against game of thrones schedule since S1 not at this time, we shall see what happens to viewers.

I'm really disappointed with the series so far. The people on the show seem to have no chemistry and most of them are thoroughly unlikable. The only character I really find interesting in the Central American guy. I hope they don't just hang around at sea all season.

I purchased the Special Edition Blu-ray a week or so ago and I've been working through it over the past few nights and I love it.
When I was watching it on television I found myself rather disinterested (and only made it into three episodes), but I guess I'm now having a major change of heart. ![]() |

It's the cast, sadly. They just haven't gelled together as a group, but also - for me- I just don't care about any of them. Aside from Strand and Ruben who seem to "get it", the others are just idiots completely out of their depth (no pun intended), they wouldn't last an episode if they turned up in TWD.
I'll keep watching hoping for an improvement but it really is the poor relative of TWD. I still don't understand how there are already sooo many undead [Show spoiler]

Always cracks me up how many apocalypse experts there are in this forum.
![]() If something on that scale were to happen, 99.99% of these message board apocalypse experts would be wiped out right away. Maybe those with a modicum of survival skills would get lucky, but odds are probably not. It would take a whole lot of what this group has, and that's luck! I'm sure many that post here could just easily press a button and go from normal citizen to ruthless killer in the blink of an eye. For me, it's the very fact that this group is making natural mistakes that makes it more realistic. Of course, hopefully we never have to put that to the test. As for how the cities get overrun so quickly, it's like any disease. It works at an exponential rate. Also everyone knows that containment measures never work, in the movies. ![]() Just like the comics, Kirkman has decided not to reveal how this all started. Perhaps he never will, and I'm okay with that. I want to see how it all ends....good or bad. If I'm trapped during an earthquake, I couldn't give a rats ass how it started, just where I'm going from here. ![]() |
