The way the black lady went from "the helicopter people murdered my friend" to "oh how sweet that you love the helicopter lady and want to see her again and here let me help you fulfill your love" was typically bad walking dead scripting.
Although I do like this season, yes, that was a definite low point. Beyond idiotic.

Is June (Jenna Elfman) the dumbest character in the history of The Walking Dead universe?

There have been many dumb characters who’ve made many dumb decisions over the long history of these shows.

...but is June the dumbest?

This is one of my weekly go-to series when TWD isn't around. Not exactly my favorite. The Mandalorian has captured that spot. The Walking Dead has always been one of my favorite series, especially the early days. Obviously, I don't have to explain this. The one-episode mid-season finale of TWD was really cruel and inhumane punishment but I can see why they did it.

Morgan was always one of my favorite characters on TWD so when he came over to FTWD I started watching it again. He probably saved the show in my opinion, for me anyway. It's always been harmless fun, but early TWD was phenomenal and I am still a loyal fan to the franchise when I can be. I can't watch the World Beyond. Seems like it's directed at a younger crowd with all of the mains being college-age. Weird seeing Dharma again.

Every TWD death where we don't see them die on camera or as a walker is a "we're not writing them out for sure."

True. It's easy to make it as she survived, lost memory and then she finds her daughter, but I doubt the actress will be willing to come back, seeing how much the show has changed focus now.

Huge improvement is hyperbole.

Some decent episodes that give you hope and then its back to that absolutely retarded writing which kills it.

Only really watched it this year - cause, well 2020 - but with quality shows coming back once again I won't be watching it anymore. And as cute as she is, Alycia simply isn't hot enough to force me to endure it anymore.

"Fear the Walking Dead" Sets Return Date, Adds John Glover and Two Others
by Charlie Mason
January 27, 2021

Almost five months after AMC aired its midseason finale, "Fear the Walking Dead" will return with the back half of Season 6 on Sunday, April 11 (at 9/8c), the cable network announced Wednesday.

Not only that, but as our embattled protagonists prepare to take on the nefarious Virginia and her Rangers, three new players will be entering the fray, a trio played by John Glover (Smallville, The Good Wife), Nick Stahl (Carnivale) and Keith Carradine (Madam Secretary).

In addition, one of the nine remaining episodes — lucky No. 13 — will be directed by Aisha Tyler.

Announced by AMC as a tie-in with the current season of “Fear the Walking Dead,” the network’s zombie franchise is headed into treacherous waters with “Dead in the Water.”

The digital series will be produced by The Content Room’s AMCN Digital Originals.

“Dead in the Water” is described as “a scripted series tying into Season 6 of Fear the Walking Dead and telling the story of a submarine crew fighting for survival.”

Described as “Cut off from the surface world just as the apocalypse hits, the submarine becomes a nuclear-fueled walker-filled death trap with no way out.”

“We have a long history of creating award-winning original digital content that engages our passionate audiences. As we develop and curate new, high-quality ad-supported environments, we are marrying our proven creative ability with expanded reach, opening up new distinct destinations for our fans and meaningful opportunities for our advertising partners, all sold through our AMCN Digital offering,” AMC’s Kim Kelleher said in a statement.
