Agree; was also wondering why the other rangers (esp the sniper on the roof) didn't seem to get involved. Also the whole set-up

+ have they reverted Morgan back to his old self, negating his previous story archs?

Thought last episode was an improvement.

Occasionally the show brings me back to such classics as Dawn of the Dead - loved the whole having to get through an entire office tower story. And the 'what state where they from' game they were playing.

But then they tack on the highly unlikely
[Show spoiler]Dwight finding his true love
at the end.

PS. Anyone else really getting tired of the CGI 'squibs' they use when stabbing someone? No one ever gets blood on them, and when they cut away there's never any blood on the floor etc. I get that it's a money/time thing, but still...it gets annoying.

This was a great freaking episode.

...I got a little emotional at the end.

Another great episode, S6 has been so good last time and best Walking Dead season in a while. If they keep this up, it has potential to be in top 5 of best overall Walking Dead seasons.

I thought it was terrible. That ridiculous love affair between those two women was a low moment last season and it was ridiculous in this episode. "Maybe she will shoot me in the head, but I'll be happy for a brief moment" lololol

The only thing that saved it was the ending scene. Sure the encounter with the tower survivors was ok, but the premise of their going up the tower in the first place was super lame.

The way the black lady went from "the helicopter people murdered my friend" to "oh how sweet that you love the helicopter lady and want to see her again and here let me help you fulfill your love" was typically bad walking dead scripting.

Whoa. FearTWD continues 3 for 3 this season. To me, this episode was a nice “bottle episode” if you can call it that. A little Dwight and Al side quest. I’m beginning to warm up to this formula of “anthology” storytelling they’re aiming for with the season.

I thought last night's episode was great, and John Dorie continues to be one of the more interesting characters on the show. Anyone else finding it hard to trust Dakota? I keep thinking that she's much more faithful to her sister than she's pretending to be, and that Virginia is using her to spy on everybody.

Several seasons ago I started getting tired of The Walking Dead and Fear jumping around from group to group and rarely sticking with one group for consecutive episodes. Just as soon as you get interested in one storyline or group, they go somewhere else for two or three weeks.

It completely disrupts the narrative momentum of the shows.

...and they’re still doing it.

John Dorie is the best thing about this show. Without him they would be in deep trouble.

Second after him is Victor Strand.

BOTH barely used....

Yes indeed...remember that episode where he and June were isolated in a house, (first meeting and stuff). It was THE best FTWD episode ever... Last episode was my second favorite... Dorie is awesome in every scene.... I love him... June without him would be boring IMO...

Glad I'm not the only one who likes Dorie. I was disappointed when the old cast changed so quickly, but I do like the new cast especially Morgan and Dorie. Glad they did keep Strand, Alicia and Daniel to. Al, June and Dwight are also good characters to.

Glad to see Morgan in each ep to and his part this week was good again.

I absolutely loved Dories ep though, he's such a great character that you wouldn't mind watching say 2 or 3 ep just on him each season.

I'm glad this show is doing better with the writing. Acting has always been pretty good, but man did season 4 and 5 have horrible writing. Hopefully they can keep the momentum up.

Wow, came in here to read about Season 5 and everyone is talking about Season 6.

I'll see my way out until a separate thread is started.

Don't think a separate thread will be started. OP or Mods need to update the title.
