Call me crazy but I liked Episode 2 better than one!

Anyone notice they showed the jet in one scene I wonder if that's supposed to be the plane from the one shot coming up? I think they said that someone on it would eventually join FTWD in Season Two.

Now for all the talk about the actors outside of the Dad & the actor who played the principle I'm not familiar with any of them!

Enjoyed the 2nd episode more....so that's a good sign I guess.

Still some really bad dialog though. Can't remember the specifics but I actually cringed at some point in the first 5 minutes.

I really hope they show the city imploding. They hinted at the start of it with the civil disobedience and the riot cops coming out - but I want to see the full on military getting it's ass whooped.

TWD only showed the aftermath of those engagements. I want to see it in real time.

Also wouldn't mind seeing a nod to Return of the Living Dead with a far away shot of LA getting nuked...

Still really like the show, but I just feel like things are not progressing properly? I dunno. It does not feel complete and in some ways, not too realistic in the way characters are reacting. I'm not invested in any characters yet.

So far, decent companion series, but doesn't hold a candle to Walking Dead and Walking Dead's feel/tone/vibe. For me.

I'm wondering if any of the characters in FTWD will show up in TWD? Like maybe Tobias or someone not necessarily one of the main family members. It would be a nice way to incorporate a new side character

As of right now they said there won't be any crossovers for FWD and TWD. But that doesn't mean they won't think about if for the future.

Well, just watched ep #2 and thought it picked up over #1, because at least now things are happening. I liked the contrast of the child's party across the street. Stupid characters were just as frustrating as last week however. For example, that whole scene where the father's racing to pick up his family while on the phone to his wife, and she keeps saying "it's not your week our son" and he keeps saying, "just call him," back and forth for way too long... why wouldn't he just shout anything along the lines of "EMERGENCY," "LIFE AND DEATH," "HE MIGHT DIE!?" Instead he just allows her to think everything's normal so she continues to bicker with him while their son's life is at risk.

The plot's picking up now, but I guess everybody being a doofball is going to last all season long. I'll watch the whole run, though.

It's reassuring that so many armchair critics that frequent these forums after having witnessed the dead coming back to life, attempting to kill people, would make every correct decision and not be effected by this catastrophe in the slightest.

you may disagree with my posts, but at least they make a point

your post is just a meaningless deflection

Give us a better defense of the show that that! Unless you can't....

There's a difference between not making the correct decision under pressure and just not acting naturally. These are extremely obvious things we're talking about here. It's poor writing plain and simple.

In your opinion, sure!
I think it was a very realistic touch. Not only had the guy just witnessed the dead come back to life and try to kill him/his new family. He has the foresight to see the city will become a death trap. Both pretty staggering.
So if he loses it and cause his ex wife to panic, he runs the risk of her hanging up, leaving and having no way to get in touch with his son.
I saw a character that was overwhelmed with the events he had just witnessed but was struggling to make as much sense of it he possibly could...all the while trying to deal with a resentful wife, that believed she was looking out for the best interests of her son.

This show has been kinda boring so far. I'm getting a very Caprica vibe from this show. Essentially telling a story that could be interesting if done exceptionally well, but isn't necessary as it's essentially exposition to a larger more interesting story.

I really just want to know how the outbreak can be completely covered up in this day and age. Everything is recorded and uploaded. Bath Salt guy was all over the place when that happened.

I hope AMC will announce a Walking Dead movie for 2017 next year.
The time is right for the movie!

You are expecting everyone to be great communicators when it comes to the obvious and that really is not the case for a lot of people in this world.
