Kirkman has also said there is no exact timeline or specific date. The comic book has spanned over a six year time period as of it's most current issue. The TV show however, is relatively "real-time" with the exception of The Walking Dead Seasons 4-6 being linear with one after the other because there has been no time jumps. |

Truly enjoying FTWD - this past episode was superb. The sense of fear & unease with both the riots/looting/violence & the zombie attacks is fantastic. It's fascinating to see the beginnings of the outbreak & the uncertainty that everyone has re: exactly how the virus is transmitted. That being said, all of the living obviously have an instinctive fear of being bitten by the zombies (as they would be of being bitten by a living person), so obviously they already know - or are correctly assuming - that getting bitten will start the infection.
Travis is obviously a sympathetic character, and a generally nice guy. He's trying to keep his new family together, while also dealing with his old family. Because of this, I can't see him surviving for long in this post-apocalyptic world. I'm guessing that RB's wife - [Show spoiler] I'm actually liking this show more than TWD - and that's saying a lot, since I'm a huge fan of TWD TV series & comic. And the episodes get better and better! I swear that was the fastest "hour" of TV ever! The wife, and I, were just riveted!
I have to wonder if I would enjoy this show as much, not having already read the comics and viewed the regular show. Having seen TWD, IMO, definitely adds to this show. Can't wait for next Sunday! |

![]() As I mentioned in a previous post, I would much rather have protagonists make mistakes as opposed the classic Hollywood trope of making every perfect decision...but that's just me. So if the writers were going for this angle, I commend them for it, as it makes the show much more realistic(as realistic as possible in a Zombie Apocalypse). |

What was with the plane? Someone else mentioned a plane earlier also - every episode they look at a plane in the sky....and this one you're thinking it's gonna crash, then it sharply corrects itself.
![]() And I know I'm nitpicking....but you have the military blowing away anyone who even remotely looks messed up and when they ask her about the fresh dug grave they simply accept that they buried a dog without even a second thought....not likely. At least make the soldier pause and play things through in his head before saying screw it and moving on. |

Wow I'm shocked, I expected to hear a bunch of hate for this last one. I was a big defender of the first two but thought this third episode was terrible. The writing was atrocious regarding character actions and just the lay out of the area....hey maybe open a window or open a door instead of running through the maze to warn Travis.
![]() All of a sudden Travis forgets everything that happened the first two episodes and acts totally different this one. I also feel like I'm watching a documentary on drug addiction and family dysfunction more than a show about zombies. Ugh. Not a likable character in the bunch....maybe the daughter of Ruben Blades family but that's it. Frankly I don't see how a show can survive if you don't care what happens to the characters. Heck I care more about the characters in Z-Nation than this...by far. Oh and I'm sure the military would send two helicopters and half the army to protect that crap neighborhood knowing that this stuff is going on all over LA. Please. Will hang in there but other than the hospital scene this one episode was garbage. |

Definitely a lot of questionable choices made in last nights episode among the group.
If not for the cops, the rioting scene and subsequent escape in the magically untouched Ford reminded me of Purge Anarchy. I was half expecting the masked looters to start killing folks. Daniel and Chris seem to be bonding like Dale and Glenn. |
