That zombie head is absolutely repulsive. It would freak me out to have that thing staring at me all the time. I had a hard time watching Season One. I doubt I will ever get Season Two.

I'm in Australia and our TWD S2 release was 2 disc, with no extras!

I have a Region A player, therefore, I purchased the US copy on pre-order from Amazon US. It's Tuesday 28 August here (10am). Order still wasn't shipped half an hour a go, which was cool 'cos I cancelled the order so I could combine Boardwalk Empire Season 2 in the same order, to ensure cheaper shipping!

Empire comes out here next week and according to our classification site, the show has been modified to get a MA15+ rating (First season was R18+). Even with courier shipping, price is half than what it would cost here, and I will get it a day or two earlier, and uncut (if the Australian movie classification website is correct). Thanks Amazon.

Interesting to note that Amazon waits until the actual release day to ship. JB HiFi (The best place to go for Blu Ray in Australia) ships one day earlier than the release date, so you get your order the day of release.

Can't wait to check out the deleted scenes from Walking Dead Season 2. Waiting eagerly for the order to arrive. (Would have got the head, but doesn't fit my decor and I'm running out of storage space for Blu Rays!)

I love the show but I definitely don't want that zombie head staring at me either hahaha...

I got my copy from amazon yesterday (day early) though I'm a prime member and they used a courier service, so I guess that's why.

I finally got the shipping now on my order, I live in Norway so with standard shipping I guess I'll have it in two weeks or so.

I geeked out tonight. Popped in season 2, ordered double cheese pizza, and got tons of beer and herb. Excellent viewing experience.

As for the PQ, they improved big time regarding the grain factor. Season 1's heavy grain bothered the hell out of me. They toned it down in this one thankfully.

Good to hear they sorted the grain out in season 2 i'm on epiosde 4 from season 1 and the grain was annoying me aswell when they where on the roof

Well that's why I'm ultimately going with the zombie head. Probably won't be available forever and it's going to be great to display.

Are you sure? Did they switch filming methods for season 2? Because TWD films using 16mm film stock as far as I know.

Ew! I absolutely love The Walking Dead. I've read all the comics and seen all the episodes, but this is the ugliest release I've ever seen. I prefer the cover with Rick to the zombie head. Let's see about the zombie head:

Not being able to sleep at night due to the scariness of this horrendous casing.
