Which version of the WDS2 packaging is the best? The digipack version that came with the zombie head or the regular version with the slipcover?

Well I don't want to jump OT too much since this thread is about Season 2 but I asked my question here and it was answered so I thought i'd let you all know that I picked up Season 1 today at Best Buy.

So today at Best Buy I got...
1. Fringe Season 4 $39.99
2. The Walking Dead Season 1 $22.99
Came to $68.46 with tax but I used a $10 GC I got on a previous Blu-ray deal at Best Buy so my out of pocket cost was $58.46 plus I got another $10 GC for an over $50 TV on BD order so the way I see it is this.
The Walking Dead: Season 1 $24.99 with tax minus 2 $10 GCs= $4.99 out the door.

I have an awful lot of BDs to watch but I am going to squeeze in The Walking Dead: Season 1 ASAP.
I am looking forward to it and I hope its addictive and I end up watching the whole thing in a few days.

Thanks again for the great input everyone.

I think you could. I really enjoyed it since watching it for the first time was getting the seasons. I watched both seasons in two days.

My record watch is back in 09' when I bought Seasons 1-3 of Dexter blind and ended up watching all three Seasons in 3 days.

Since this show airs on ad-supported cable, each episode is like 42-49 minutes. I re-watched Season 1 last week when I was home with a sinus infection and it only took me about 4 1/2 hours. You will fly through Season 1!

I watched both seasons of Pretty Little Liars (47 episodes) in three days. As much as I love other shows, that's the first time I was ever able to do that.

How so? He never gets any screen time. I like T-Dog just fine.....I don't really know him well enough not to like him.

Found a place for my Zombie head, Wife didn't want it next to her in bed.

Now I just need to watch the show. I haven't seen.

Nice set up! Thanks for taking the time to share the pic!
Be careful that sub doesn't rattle those Collector's Editions right off the speaker!

It doesn't look like a thousand dollar art piece, as it's not. But, for the price, it looks and feels fantastic!

Anyone else really annoyed by the horrible commercial break splices?

I never noticed that on Season 1. Maybe Season 1 was commercial free?

I've never noticed such jarring breaks on other TV shows such as Weeds either.

???

I thought the commercial breaks were spliced in fine. That's how it aired, and it's not like the splices happened right in the middle of something. If they did happen in the middle of something, it was to keep you hanging on the edge of your seat. For me, a lot of cuts happen at moments that seem predictable enough. This all seems like business as usual for ANY show that airs on TV with commercial breaks.

Season 1 did not air commercial free, although the first extended episode was, or at least had very, very, very few breaks. It was sort of a special event when it aired.

You also don't see breaks like this on Weeds, either. Weeds airs on Showtime, which is commercial free.

I didn't notice anything in Season 1 but they were getting on my nerves watching Season 2. There are points where it is necessary but for some reason they all stuck our more than usual on the Season 2 Blu-Ray.

Just finished it.

I personally liked the first season better just because there were less episodes and it was faster paced.

With news that Season 3 will be even more episodes than Season 2 I'm a bit worried that it'll turn into more of a soap opera.

Guess I'll find out a month from now.

I'm sure this was already asked before but what are the chances of the studio releasing the digi-pack separately? Will they put it out to match season why or will they just keep it as an exclusive to the special edition set?

I just rewatched both seasons this weekend.

I love this show and it was even better watching again!
