Every time one of you posts about these e-bay prices I get a little more tempted to sell my unopened one and my empty head and just buy the amray edition.

I just sold mine for $180. Mine was opened but still have original box ect. I bought it for $60. Tripled my $$. All i wanted. Will do the same with the season 3 one as well

It will be interesting to see how many more of S3 are made, seeing how well S2 sold. That could hurt the resell value.

Ya i have a feeling they will make much more season 3 SE. Won't be as valuable as the one i just sold but i can see some value added.

Makes me wonder if I should sell my head now or wait another year or two. I wonder if they'll be even more scarce/valuable down the road.

I can't see them losing value but there has to be a ceiling to what people are willing to pay. I can see the value rising slightly but I would think if the prices posted here are accurate we are near that ceiling.

I was wondering the same thing before i listed mine on ebay. it's almost impossible to forecast the value of it in a year or two. It could double again to 300-400..or go back down to $100. i don't think anyone will know. Either risk selling it now and make some $$..or risk losing out on it doubling again or dropping a ton..who knows

I decided that triple what i paid was good enough..but part of me wishes i kept it. I am afraid now to look in a year to see where it is. But you never know

But like said above..would someone pay $400 for this thing? Not sure about that

The head is awesome. Great work and an awesome SE. But i am buying the blu ray and calling it a day with my $180 but like i said..part of me wanted to keep it..trust me. Oh well. I will probably keep the season 3 one. I MAY leave that one brand new in box because if the same thing happens..i will end up selling again. I am a sucker for $$

I'm almost embarrassed to admit I broke down and bought this on eBay last month for $185 + $25 shipping.
I was going to buy it when it first came out but never did. Then when I saw the Season 3 SE I wanted this that much more so I could have both. Definitely the most I've spent on any type of single BD. It is pretty awesome, though. Just don't know if it's $200 awesome.

$70 from another member for the Digi. I didn't really want to pay that much, but I did want it and am glad to have it. They didn't really want to sell it, but I'm glad they did. Once I sell my regular edition for $20 or so it should negate some of the cost.

Also is there a demand for the head on it's own without the actual digipack inside?

Yes...heads seem to be going for the exact same price..one head was up to $190 the other day. It was brand new in the plastic wrap and not used or opened.

I guess the only issue with it is the size of the box. It would cost a lot to post that thing, especially if sending it over seas.

I got the digipack last week off ebay.co.uk for £30 there was one the week before that went for about the same, so just keep an eye out
