The season 2 SE is made by McFarlane toys and they have had some pretty crappy looking paint apps recently and close up shots of this reveal the not great paint app or detail.
So pass!
I will wait a while in case they release a extra special edition with more bonus content.

Not on the extra disc, it's just new extras, no episodes unless you count the Black and White Pilot.

The special edition did infact add an audio commentaries for each episode. The original 'regular' release did not have ANY commentaries. They were the reason I upgraded.

Yes, that was added for the SE. It was more than just that extra disc.

That's what I had thought. I'll be looking to get the SE of S1 soon, and eagerly waiting for S2 to come out!

Either way Season 2 is done so hopefully this brings us closer to info on the Blu-ray release with the awesome zombie head display piece.

I see that amazon has put the pre-order up for The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray , no date though.

I've been waiting to double-dip on the Season 1 Special Edition in case they try to mess around and not release Season 2 in similar packaging or something.

I've been wanting to buy these on Blu-ray but the only good thing about Season 2 was the finale. This last episode is what the whole second season should have been like. Hopefully, the third season won't be like the second season, where they are holed up at the prison, instead of the farm ...

I really want to see more action and more Zombie killing ...
