I buy 2 limited edition with the slip cover box in best buy,

and the truth I had no intention to sell, but my wife told me

"ONE HAS TO GO" so I put one on sale in amazon, for a ridiculous price, I was sure no one would pay, but to my surprise, two hours later, I had a buyer.

Does anyone know what the score was with the UK and Australian releases?

The UK set had all the episodes shoved onto two discs, with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. Special features were relegated to a third disc (BD-25).

The Australian set has all the eps on two discs as well, but with a basic DD5.1 track. A third disc (the same as the UK one) was included in a 'seasons 1-3' pack.

My question is, is there a difference in the video quality between the two sets? Did the Australian release just luck out on the lossless audio, *and* get stuck with the same inferior video? Or the Oz release actually trade audio quality for less compressed video?

Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know how rare the slipcover for the Season 2 Zombie Head box is? I purchased the set, and still have it, but I recently looked on eBay, and none of the auctions have the slip. It covered the zombie's head in retail stores. Just wondering if this would make a difference on price? Just curious if anyone has an answer. Thanks!

best buy in store had a slip over the main big outer box, to hid the zombie head image from kids

I'm just beginning to watch this series on blu-ray. After the great debut of season 1, what in the hell happened to Season 2? It became a , boring, romantic soap opera, with a couple of short, unnecessary sex scenes. It was awful! While everybody is talking about nothing except the packaging, slipcovers and so forth should I continue watching Season 3 & 4, and does it get any better?

Keep going. Whilst it seems slow, the build up over the season is worth every bit of time by the end. But saying that, from mid season to the end it is a riot of great episodes.

It gets so much better at the end of S2 and all through 3 and 4 to present IMO.

$150 sounds about fair for a S2 head without box. Mofos are asking $400 for used on amazon!

They're all over the place on ebay, but $150 is about the cheapest sold recently (and that was just the head without the box or discs). I'd be crazy tempted if I ran into that, although despite what they get it still seems stupid expensive. Guess it comes down to how much do you want it, but the price is reasonable at least.

Everyone is entitle to an opinion, but for me, Season 2 has been the best so far. After season 3, it all went downhill and it has never recovered.

. Also, Way too many great characters gone now, Shane, Dale, Hershel, Andrea, T-Dog to name a few....none of the most recent characters holds a candle to the originals IMO.

Actually I was confused from the very beginning because, Season 1 begin after the apocalypse. Season 1 did not show any events nor explained on what transpired on how the citizens became zombies (The Walking Dead).
