AMC's "Fear The Walking Dead" (Season 8)

Watched the first 2 episodes of season 3 last night and they are hands down the 2 best episodes of this show to date. Like many postings I hope they can keep the momentum. For the first time with this show I'm actually anticipating the next episode.
I guess my only gripe was Victor saying he was a

[Show spoiler]doctor. Sure they needed to get him out of the resort to further his story but for me it was just weak. By saying that he gets kicked out, because if the people find out,
whom he saved, they will revolt. My only complaint from the 2 episodes.

How many episodes in before you think Alicia starts a relationship with Jake ?

[Show spoiler]I was bummed to see Travis go, as he was getting to be a real badass after the loss of Chris, but nobody is ever safe. Now I'm curious as to who shot at the helicopter? Very happy to see Dayton Callie added to the cast. He was quite good in Sons of Anarchy. I'm wondering if Troy will turn out as evil/sinister as The Governor?

I love this show, it's at least 10 times better than the original and by the looks I'm going to enjoy watching the two first episodes I'm going to watch soon.

What a pathetically dumb way to off a major character. One of the worst deaths in ether series, right up there with Beth's dumb ass attack.

I thought season one was just ok, season two was a tad bit better but not much. Actually very much disliked the season three premier episodes. Actually quite surprised at all the love those episodes are getting, I thought they were really boring and stupid. They killed off one of the only two interesting characters, there's just no one to root for or like. I was a casual fan up until last Sunday, I'm giving up on the show and focusing on better things.

Still very very very very very much prefer TWD.

FTWD is so much better than the soap opera TWD has become.
I've abandoned TWD since the stupid Negan arc.

Both shows in my mind have become ponderous - Fear: for splintering off the groups, and WD because it's lost its focus and has become self pretentious

Couldn't disagree with you more. It's better now than it ever has been. The Negan arc is amazing thus far and I can't wait for it to continue till the end of time. The only thing that will rejuvenate any interest in FTWD is if that family become the Whisperers and they make their way onto TWD. It's all they could possibly be good for.
