Which is what bugged me about an otherwise great episode. Nick had the grenade launcher why not just hit it with that instead of running into the helicopter in order to setup a fake 'how will they get out of this situation' event.

But I thought the idea of being trapped in the bunker, oxygen running out, having them turn and come back - people giving up their lives, her having to deal with that etc. was top notch.

I loved the concept of the episode (trapped in a confined space, oxygen is running out with a bunch of people in there; what do you do?) but it was written so poorly. Forget Nick and his retardedness in regards to the psycho. And forget how they magically appeared with everyone else despite being trapped in a helicopter that was surrounded by zombies. Forget all that...

Are we supposed to believe that that girl, out of all those 100 or so people in that basement, she was the ONLY one that was completely unaffected by the lack of oxygen? Other people died in there because of no oxygen, yet she had enough to get up, run around and kill a bunch of zombies. And she was the only one who could do that.

If you have to ask, I guess you'll never get it.

But I'll try... he keeps giving the psycho chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance. You don't see that? Have you seen this season?

Yet the psycho keeps doing things that are worse and worse and worse and worse. He still lets the psycho live, even though he offed his father (who, while also completely flawed, at least he built up a safe haven).

The psycho ruins the whole setup they had, on purpose, basically killing off the whole community. Nick still lets him live. In fact he COVERS for him at the end of the last episode. That was just the latest in a long long LONG line of covering up and aiding the psycho. In a just world, both Nick and the psycho should be put to sleep.

Carol from Walking Dead needs to come and tell Troy to "look at the flowers" since Nick nor anyone else for some reason will put this nutjob out of his misery.

In total and complete agreement.

Loved the episode but this really ruined what could have been one of the best of the series. This took away so much from it. At the very least a small handful should have made it. Was really pulling for Christine. Why does every single older person always have to drop?

Where's rickah88 to methodically go through and argue point by point why you're wrong and how insanely great this show is?

I feel like I'm about to do his work for him...

He more often than not annoys me, but I strangely miss him.

Obviously he identifies with him somehow....likely as another seriously damaged person. And to be fair they did banish him...so looks like he got the last laugh - except for you know his brother dying in the process.

I will say I am getting a bit tired of the mechanism for when they decide to off someone. You regularly have characters taking on hundreds of zombies sometimes bare handed and not a scratch, but when it's time for a character to die, 'ah! I got bit by a single zombie right away'...

See how that works! I had to set you on the path to righteousness, now go forth my child and do the same for others.

Called it!

The Walking Dead Cinematic Universe!
Granted no silver screen, but give it time!

Yes, Fear’s timeline is behind TWD’s timeline. But with great creative teams behind both shows, I’m confident they will come up with something good.
Maybe it will crossover before the outbreak started?
I’m wondering if the crossover will happen in the comics too? I only read the compendiums so I’m probably a couple dozen issues behind currently.

Hmm... not sure how they'll pull this off. There's no apparent connection between what's happened on the east coast in TWD and what's happened in FTWD on the west coast/Mexico. Unless we're talking about some incredibly loose connection like Jenner and the CDC interacting with the west coast.

I’m guessing it will involve a flashback and we find out a character from each show are related. Basically something subtle.

Hopefully the crossover doesn't mean you have to watch both shows to figure out what is going on with stuff. If it's just a minor character from earlier season of TWD appearing on FTWD then that's fine but if it affects the main storyline of TWD then I might get a little upset cause I don't watch FTWD and those lil mini-episodes in each episode of TWD are not very interesting to me

Thoughts on what will be in the finale?

My guess is Strand's backstabbing efforts has the dam being overrun by bad guys and yet again we have a finale whereby what was thought to be 'paradise' turns out not to be the case and our cast is once again on the run.

Madison's family is from Georgia, I would have to guess it is something to do with that.

A Madison/Rick family relation has been tossed around for awhile. I’m just wondering if Kirkman will want to make the necessary changes to this potential plot line as it didn’t happen in the comic.
I’m wondering if someone from Fear might know Daryl. Since he’s not in the comics Kirkman can do whatever he wants with that story.
I’m already looking forward to 2018 and still have the season finale of Fear and all S8 of TWD(bring on Alpha and the Whisperers please )
